The Focus Pro 30K sensor is a blinder in here, with Gen 3 Optical switches offering up an incredibly satisfying clunk with every shot. Everything works together to create a seamless experience no matter the game. We tested across everything from Halo Infinite to Planet Coaster and the Cobra Pro felt great every time. That said, the Deathadder V3 Pro is hardly the lightest mouse around. While it can still be categorized as an ultra-lightweight, it is quite heavier than competing mice like the Corsair M75 Air (60g), Steelseries Aerox 3 (57g), and the DAREU A950 Pro Mag (55g). It's been a long time since we last looked at the wired Logitech Pro gaming mouse (nearly eight years), and I was surprised to see that design has more or less stayed the same after all that time with upgrades beneath the surface—both the Pro Wireless and Pro X Superlight wirelessuse a similar form factor. After using the Pro for a bit, it's safe to say if it ain't broke, well, you know. Speaking of hand placement, one of the major differences from the previous model comes in the form hand angle. While my initial qualm was that the lower profile shell meant my wrist was leaning on the desk a lot, my hand has now shifted around to the intended position. I get it now. It's slightly skewed, similarly to those vertical mice that are all the rage at the moment in offices, which gives it superior ergonomics to the simple flat, front facing hand placement of the original design. I've gone for the white colorway for the test unit for this review, and while I can't tell you what it will look like in five years' time, I can tell you that it looks quite stunning out of the box.

Due to its size, the mouse is best suited for palm grip-style users and especially for those that have medium to large sized hands. For other grip styles, the mouse may not be as comfortable or as accurate as I did notice that it is a little bottom heavy possibly due to the battery location. I use a predominantly palm grip style and occasionally switch to claw to suit the situation, and I had no trouble reining in the sensor while still zooming across the screen and having a reasonably accurate control over my aim.Razer produces mice under a few series', the Viper, Basilisk and Naga models tend to carry the higher price tags, while Deathadder, Orochi, and Mamba lines come in cheaper.
