The operation itself works very well. Not once did it happen to us that when touched, the earbuds did not respond. We sometimes saw that differently with other earplugs. In terms of design, you can clearly feel where you have to press on the Edifier X3. Namely on the flat part. So far everything is fine To control Edifier X3 there is a high-precision touchpad on the top of the earphone handle which can achieve precise control with highly responsive touch sensitivity. The control consists of turning on / off the headphones, answering / keeping / rejecting a call, turning on / off the music, waking up the voice assistant, and other operations but does not have the function of customizing touch or increasing and reducing volume.The Edifier X3 fit snugly in the ear immediately. As a result, they are extremely comfortable in short stints and don’t fatigue the ears in longer sessions. Taking the buds out of the charging case for the first time, they immediately switch to pairing mode, which speedily connects to the device of your choice. The charging case has a 500mAh battery that will enable you to listen for a whopping 15 hours! There’s enough juice to last you a fair few days. And whilst we’re on the subject of battery life. And here we have tried to place it in a table. Actually, we did that to clarify for ourselves which functions the touch actually has. But the longer we look at the table, the more dizzy we get. But your voice becomes very shrill. The low tones are cut off with this microphone. Just listen to this fragment that we recorded with the Edifier X3: The Edifier X3 TWS earbuds are really easy to put on and wear. Once it’s in place, no amount of headbang will get it out, and that’s a good thing. I did not need to change the earpiece, but if you have smaller or larger ears, there are spare ones in the box for you to get your right fit.
The earbuds also feature an IP55 dust and water resistance rating so you can wear these out and about in the rain or during exercise without worry. Battery Life The sound on the Edifier X3 TWS earbuds are commendable. You’re treated to really nice levels of low bass, and crystal clear mids when it comes to vocals. The highs can be a little too bright, cause the treble might get a little messy at high volume.The charging case design is really straight forward and it’s hard not to notice that it’s actually quite lightweight. The only design feature to speak of on the case is a contrasting Edifier logo on the top of the case, which looks good. When it comes to the microphone, it has a built-in mic with CVC 8.0 noise reduction technology. In our test, it performed fine but if you’re in a really noisy environment, the person on the other end might not be able to hear you that well. The charging case is equally nondescript with the same material choice and colour as the Edifier X3 buds themselves. With a small magnet keeping the charging case together, there is only a micro-USB charging port, and a small ‘Edifier’ logo adorning the caddy. There are no LED notifications anywhere, only on the buds themselves.
As for the earbuds themselves, they have a low profile design to them. This means they’re thin enough that they won’t jut out too much from your ears. They have the same matte texture as the charging case, and they’re extremely light (4.8g each). That being said, they don’t feel cheap at all. As for the buds themselves, they fit perfectly for me. I had no issues or discomfort after long periods of use and that’s pleasant enough for me. It also doesn’t feel loose when wearing them, so if you face this issue, just swap out the eartips. I love Edifier’s audio gear. It’s great quality and their audio equipment always does what they say it’ll do. They’re no if’s, but’s or maybes, it just works.
Overall, I really like the design & styling. They are understated and will suit everyone regardless of your overall fashion style. I quite like the fact that some people would call them ‘boring’. It’s a plus, in my opinion. I don’t want everyone to notice I’m wearing a pair of decent headphones especially if I’m ever travelling through no so desirable areas. IP55 Waterproof Rating The earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, which will bring added benefits to your listening experience if the device that you are connected to supports Bluetooth 5.0, such as better range and performance.
Overall, QCY earplugs have a little more value as far as we're concerned. For example: QCY has its own app in which you determine which functionality the different buttons and touch controls have.The drivers emphasize low-end sounds, something we’re accustomed to seeing in standard consumer audio products. The amplification is just above the threshold of hearing: we typically don’t notice changes less than 3dB and notes from 20-200Hz are ~5dB louder than the lower end of midrange frequencies. If you’re not one for numbers: just know that some vocal and instrumental detail may be lost to the amplified bass notes. That said, the Edifier TWS1 earphones perform exceptionally well for the price and make just about anything sound good. The earbuds themselves are very light, so light if fact you really can’t feel any kind of significant weight in your ears when wearing them – they weigh around 4g each (the total weight of the two earbuds and charging case is only 32g). Despite the lightweight feel, ergonomic design and their low profile size they are excellent quality, fit really well and are very snug, are so comfortable to wear and do not have that cheap feel. The sound quality is excellent. The X3 earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.0 and the Qualcomm aptX codec, delivering CD-quality sound with good bass and crystal clear audio, all without any stutter or delay.
