GXM-200– 3 or 6 leaf spider magnetic targets positioned on the outside of a flush jointed inclinometer casing. GXM-100T– 6 leaf spider magnetic targets positioned on the outside of 33mm (1”) flush jointed access casing together with telescopic joints to accommodate higher settlements than the GXM100

Greetings everyone! It’s Kim from The Best Ideas for Kids and I’m excited to be sharing with you today these beautiful fall clay magnets. Fall is my favorite season – especially when the leaves start changing colour. But not only that, fall brings on the start of a new school year, fun activities like going to the pumpkin patch and then looking forward to Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas! So today I’m sharing with you how to make these pretty air-dry clay fridge magnets. You won’t believe how easy they are to make. Kids will love helping or creating these on their own! And the best part about them is they look great on the fridge and will bring some fall décor to your kitchen. are virtually silent (the primary noise generated comes not from the machine but a slight sound from leaves as the Leaf Magnet™ gathers them) we like to buy air – dry clay in bulk (great for Apple Pinch Pots and stunning Leaf Bowls too!) e.g. –For both the manual and automated systems Magnetic Extensometers are supplied in various configurations of the access casing, spider, plate and datum magnets to suit varying installation environments and techniques. The ones supplied by Geosense are listed in the table below: In soft ground applications, a ratio (by weight) of 6.6 water : 1 cement : 0.4 Bentonite is a good option which will provide a 28 day compressive strength of about 25kPa Leaf Spider Magnets are the easiest to install as they can simply be placed on the outside of the access tubing and pushed down to the required depth using a special installation tool or lengths of piezometer pipe. Blow everything on lawns, not only leaves, including mold, bacteria, roundworms ( nematodes), animal urine and feces, decaying bodies of dead insects and animals, pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals, allergens such as plant pollen, dust from tire wear, brake-lining dust, particulate matter, volcanic ash, erionite and other fibrous zeolites, other mineral dusts, soil and everything in it, such as heavy metals (e.g., lead and cadmium). That junk and more is stirred into plumes contaminating users and others: once airborne, it spreads throughout your neighborhood: through screens of open windows into homes, onto picnic tables, gardens, and into eyes, noses, lungs, ears, and onto clothing, causing or contributing to a number of problems affecting appearance, health, mood, and brainpower. GXM-200PT– 6 leaf spider magnetic targets positioned on the outside of a flush jointed inclinometer casing together with telescopic joints to accommodate higher settlements than the GXM200.

Edison advised, “There's a way to do it better—find it.” We did; we created a way to remove leaves from lawns without an engine or motor that is so efficient it can outperform leaf blowers, sweepers, and even tractors pulling powered lawn vacuums. We can do it without pollution, dust, vibration, or noise: our method is quieter than raking. Noise isn't just an annoyance: researchers found that it adversely affects physical and mental health as well as increasing the risk of dementia. have no risk of impeller explosions, which, although rare in leaf blowers and vacuums, are potentially devastating Today, I like to welcome Kim from The Best Ideas for Kids who is sharing a gorgoeus DIY Clay Leaf Magnet craft with us today. Not only do we LOVE to work with clay (we have many great easy clay projects for kids here), but these make stunning Autumn decorations, great little gifts for kids to make or would also be brilliant for decorating the Thanksgiving table (then let your guests each take one home at the end of their visit..). Over to Kim! GXM-100 – comprises of a series of 3 or 6 leaf spider magnetic targets positioned on the outside of 33mm (1”) or 42mm (1¼”) flush jointed access casing. For borehole installations the magnetic targets are located in position by means of leaf spring legs attached to the targets which are known as “Spider Magnets” and are available in either three or six leaf versions.

This was our second time working with air dry clay and we were so impressed with how easy it was to work with and the quality crafts you can create. If you’re looking to do another craft while you create these magnets, see our easy leaf bowls. We had enough clay to make both the magnets and the dishes and even some clay left over to spare. DIY Clay Leaf Magnets – MATERIALS NEEDED That’s it! Kids will love helping you press the cookie cutters in and painting these will be fun too! We hope you enjoy the finished pieces. Feel free to choose any colors or cookie cutters too – the options are endless! And if you’re looking for another fun project to do with these cookie cutters – see our fall potato stamps we made with similar cookie cutters.

Thomas Edison would love our leaf removal breakthrough. Leaf blowers would not impress him. Why? They: It is very important that each target is labelled and given a unique identification. Where 6 leaf spiders are used the pull ropes should also be labelled.Mowers are OK if you have few leaves and lots of time. Rakes also move each leaf over and over again, creating blisters and sore muscles faster than clearing yards. As poorly as leaf blowers perform in perfect conditions, they're even worse in windy weather or when leaves are wet. A slight breeze (3 mph) can make leaf blowing more difficult while 6 – 9 mph can waste oodles of time as leaf blowers launch leaves into the air, often scattering them in unintended directions.

If it is not possible to have the datum magnet in stable ground, it is VITAL that the top of the access tube should be surveyed each time the instrument is read. Three types available – 33mm OD x 25mm (1”) ID, 42mm x 38mm (1¼”) ID with flush threads or 70mm flush coupled QJ inclinometer casing. Using your leaf cookie cutters press into the clay. Be sure to use cookie cutters that have a design in the center of them so they create an impression when pressed into the clay. Then remove the cookie cutter and the excess clay around the cookie cutters.
