His debut work was the audio play The Rapture for Big Finish Productions in 2002. Seriously I love love love it, the podcast set-up is so compelling, I was hooked as soon as I realised what they were doing with this, and even when the story drifted away from it as it progressed, it was still an extremely captivating hook that had me smiling from ear to ear. Anjli Mohindra, Da niel Anthony, and Min a A nwar reprise their roles with joyous aplomb. From first to last, they make it feel like the show never ended.

With the series titled Rani Takes on the World, the first release is called Beyond Bannerman Road. Rumours have been swirling for a while, but this evening Doctor Who audio producers Big Finish Productions have confirmed the return of Rani Chandra in her own series. There, Rory couch surfed her way through life, without any apartment of her own. Here the closest thing Rani has to a home base is her producer’s sofa. Where Rory unflatteringly bristled with entitlement when she discovers a meeting is a job interview not a flat offer of a position, Rani leaps to the conclusion her failure to get nominated for a podcast award is a conspiracy by powerful forces trying to silence her.
