Mid-length chapters make this easy to read until about the 75% mark, when the pace really escalates. The story takes a completely unexpected turn & the grim, brutal reality of some aspects of today’s society rears it’s ugly head. A relatable solid cast of characters (I especially liked the repartee between colleagues) and a twist or two kept my interest to the end. The Cornwall Wildlife Trust's Devichoys Wood is directly on your doorstep and provides beautiful walks. There are 2 wonderful traditional Cornish pubs within walking distance of the property where wonderful home cooked food is served . Mylor, the renowned sailing hub , is a short 2 mile drive away.
