Oh lord… I was definitely engrossed while reading. I found myself rereading for clues. Any foreshadowing as to what could possibly happen. Prince Charming against the Dark Knight…both trying to save and win the heart of the Damsel in Distress…but can it be that simple?

It's not a standalone, and although I did liked the author's style, and even the plot of a growing love triangle, but it's a lot open yet.OMD- the h sleeps with one man (the H? From the previous book) and does stuff with the other man (he’s H2) From the previous book, we learn the mysterious Marcus shows us his dark past & his present & his identity is finally revealed. We learn what has made him the way he is. The story behind the man in the shadows that knows all. This book kept me on edge almost throughout the end. It was so tough to decide who was the hero and the villian. Cody was on the good side but I knew he had some dark parts on himself. Marcus was the bad guy , but some of his moves showed that he actually felt for Delilah. I cannot wait to see how this book goes on!!!

Cody, I’m not attracted to his character unfortunately but I do feel really sorry for him and at the same time I don’t. Like he knew Marcus liked Delilah but he still kissed her, I mean it’s going to hurt when she hopefully chooses Marcus over him. But what can I say except KARMAAAA, for trying to take the girl away from him....... The story is told between Marcus and Delilah and provided a rounded out view of their relationship developing, Marcus is opening up and secrets are coming out. The man himself finally reveals his identity and the revelation that one man has withheld the truth and the other has answered her questions with honesty, opens up a rift between Delilah and Cody that may never be closed. There were some great moments in this novel that built up the suspense, moments I didn't see coming. Willow's writing is great at building that sexual tension between Marcus and Delilah and that was no different here; however I felt one scene in particular was cut short and I felt a little bereft and confused about what did and didn't happen. We get more details about mystery man Marcus. We find out what Cody is hiding and we finally understand why Delilah is torn between two different men - I mean who wouldn't be! Best thriller Romance , that intrigued me a lot !! I am craving for more of these characters and I don't think I will ever have enough of them!

It started out great! The suspense caught me and kept me invested until about 30% into the book where everything fell a bit flat for me. The Trinity of Delilah, Cody and Marcus comes full circle. The dark becomes lighter as skeletons in the closet emerge and Marcus finally unveils his past. Delilah struggles with the realization that she loves both Marcus and Cody, but knows who she will stay with. Both men would go to the ends of the earth to guard and protect her from harm's way. She is aware that she will hurt the man left behind. She will carry that heartbreak for the rest of her life.
