As with all AIO units, Alphacool uses radiators from the world renowned NexXxoS series. The full copper radiators offer a much higher cooling capacity than aluminium radiators and have contributed significantly to Alphacool's worldwide success. There are a few things Aurora Rising does relatively well—from its sturdy premise to its attempts at subverting well-worn tropes (though some elements wind up being huge red herrings) to even some finer points of morality and responsibility pulsing beneath the surface (the novel, however, allows them very little space to grow a thematic argument of any complexity)—but being a gripping read isn't one of them. Aurora Rise is a nonprofit dedicated to helping the survivors of the July 20, 2012, Aurora Theater Shooting and remembering those whom we lost that night. The proposed license plate design has 13 stars commemorating those who died on July 20, 2012. One of those murdered included Representative Sullivan’s son, Alex. I needed the witty humor and character chemistry that makes a misfit group lovable to the readers. Sadly, The characters are fine and kind of consistent, they’re kind of relatable and they rub me the wrong way. And also can I just talk about HOW CLICHE and STEREOTYPICAL all of them were, *grimace*. I usually would not have seen this as a problem if they actually written well. The common problem of all of these characters: no build up. And they were all trying so hard to be witty but it was just cringey...
I am a lark rather than a night owl, and sometimes I worry that I am wasting precious evening time going to sleep at 9pm - even though I’m up every morning at 6am. This poem relieves some of that guilt and reminds me of the rejuvenating powers of sleep. Photos of the auroras can seem unrepresentative of what you can see with the naked eye. This is simply the result of how the photos are taken. Photographers use the same equipment and techniques used to capture dimly-lit features which are barely visible to the naked eye, such as the Milky Way. aurora: *pipes in uselessly* neither a girl who everything revolves around but somehow can't be told apart from the wall she's standing next to since she's so flat, until the very last chapters. fin is a pretty cute character (he was the most developed imo and i felt his personality was the most genuine)
The story follows all of their perspectives as they go on their first mission and learn more about Aurora, as well as her puzzling claims about the nonexistent Octavia Colony. This book could have actually bored me to death if I finished it. The Sci-Fi genre is a chance to create gripping (literally out-of-this-world) stories and it saddens me a lot that this book was not able to live to my Sci-Fi standards.
The world building was good because it was not limited, this is space and we can have whatever we want in the story, there are no limits! But I could imagine it easily and did not have problems with this aspect. I loved this story a ton. My only negative is that I found the numerous POVs a bit jarring at times. Other than that, nothing but love from me! She was the character that I was most looking forward to getting to know and I have to say was the one I was disappointed by the most. I found her annoying and was one of the most inconsistent characters.

I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER HIS NAME. But honestly the character that was the reason there are 2 stars and not 1 star for this specific portion of my review.
It's like they were trying too hard when it came to writing Cat. It felt like her character was forced into the story just to create that Star Trio and for there to be an unrequited love aspect. Also, a good 50% of her POVs was about how Tyler didn't like her the way she did because they were just "best friends". I'm usually all for the romance in fantasy but we barely even got to experience their friendship or just meer CHARACTER INTERACTION before we found out that, oh wow, she likes him! The chapters alternate between their perspectives, and there are quite a few of them, but each of their voices are so particular to that character that I felt like I could’ve easily recognized whose eyes I was looking through, even without the chapter headers informing me. That alone is a nearly impossible feat for writers to manage, but it works so well here. We have: Scarlett: I like this character a little bit, not that she is a favorite but she can speak many languages and she got some sass. Scarlett Jones, Face: Tyler’s twin, absolute queen, can be sweet as pie but would probably skin you alive if you harmed a single hair on her brother’s head. We stan. In the next section, she speaks on how it is God who makes the sunset as beautiful as it is. She wishes that she, and those reading this piece, could take on some of the “glow” she sees and keeps it in their breast. The speaker believes this will allow one to truly worship God and wake more peacefully the next morning.
