He doesn't want a first bottle until 8am so I can give him a little breakfast at 9, but if I do that he then goes 5 hours without a fed. Which means his next bottle is 1, so I can give lunch then and then continue with his feeds after that. But his bedtime is 7, so he only has 4 bottles a day now. Today Mr Crow & I decided that we really did need to do lots of animal jobs! For once it wasn't raining, so we set about trimming 2 lots of goat feet and 7 lots of alpaca feet (as well as a few hair do's!) We then cleaned the stable out and hosed it down. The only animals we haven't had to sort out today were the pigs-they really seemed to be the happiest of the bunch wallowing in the mud! I do love the bond I have with her... I always thought me and my son were close but from feeding her myself, I feel totally consumed by her! But at the same time, I've made it really difficult for myself. My MIL had her for an hr Monday for me to go to Weight watchers. She screamed the whole time. They don't warn u about this when they encourage u to breastfeed! Lol. As for the risk of breaking- If you're cutting grapes in half (which we all should do)...you don't want them risking an Amber bead (same size as a grape) in their wind pipe. There are many more ways to soothe gums than risking it for a fashionable moment.

It will be interesting to see how it performs in more humid conditions. They could chew on steel/marble/anything hard and it would have the same effect. Anyway, we started on lunches all veg at the time. He loved it and was doing so well. Anyway about 5 days in he stopped poo-ing and for 3 days in a row he took 6oz!! Then on the 4th day he did the hardest poo I've ever seen him do after that he's been ok-ish.
