But more importantly, Leonard sees this action as a further demonstration of the poor relationship he has with his family. It’s as if Leonard couldn't fit in in the real world and found comfort with a best friend who replicated his familial experience...Beverly kissing Sheldon was also a nice moment. Partly out of the novelty of seeing Sheldon’s first kiss and partly because it was correctly blown off...It would have been nice to see Penny comforting Leonard. I don’t think they show enough physical affection to be a convincing couple and this would have been a nice time to show some. As the group gathers to decorate the Christmas tree, Raj mentions how his newly divorced father will be in town soon and as a result he won't be able to host the annual Christmas eve dinner. Now that he has the actor’s DNA, he said he can grow his own clone. This really is the perfect gift for the scientist and science fiction fan. To show his appreciation, Sheldon gives Penny a hug, which is very rare for the physicist. That absolutely melted our hearts, and it truly was a Christmas miracle! Or, aSaturnalia miracle as Sheldon would say. This is the second episode where Leonard, Raj, and Howard are seen wearing white hazard suits. Penny bursts into tears wondering why he was yelling at her. Leonard immediately retreats and tries to find out what's wrong. She says that David is an idiot because he should have taken the nude photos of his wife off his cell phone before taking nude photos of his girlfriend. Leonard asked about the nude pictures to which Penny responded, “THAT'S what you got from that? The guy is married!" Penny also asks that if he is 'perfectly happy' with the way things are, then why is he jealous. Leonard apologizes and asks her to give him this one since it is Christmas. They end up cuddling. She relents and wishes him a Merry Christmas. Then Leonard brings up that his leg is still in pain.
