About this deal

Produced by Decode Entertainment, Franny's Feet is children-aimed and centers on how upbeat is the initial exploration.

A little girl leads her friends on an outing but follows them home. Croakie Crow, Barry Bear, Honey Bunny, Ginger Giraffe, Dashie Doggy, Heddy Hedgehog and Itty Bitty Kitty are Franny’s seven friends. One day Franny announces they’re going on an outing and everyone follows her down the path with Itty Bitty Kitty at the end. After a break for juice and buns, Franny leads them on an expedition up and down a hill with Itty Bitty Kitty and Heddy valiantly trying to keep up. When Itty Bitty Kitty and Heddy stumble and roll into a hole, Franny and the others don’t even notice. But as Franny decides it’s time to go home, she discovers her two friends are missing. A frantic search ends with Itty Bitty Kitty and Heddy rescued and Franny realizing that sometimes a good leader needs to follow. Charming line-and-watercolor illustrations feature the very cute friends and their fearless leader on an innocent outing slightly reminiscent of Christopher Robin and his own bevy of stuffed pals. The simple plot provides a lighthearted lesson in the responsibilities of friendship. (Picture book. 3-6) His obvious addiction to Morphine is the primary problem, but the film decides that he has more and more problems as the narrative unfolds, and it becomes mind bendingly awkward as to what his motivation is, and why Franny has all these ulterior motives. I found the book quite interesting and the story enjoyable. I had presumed that the book was part of a set with each one being a different letter of the alphabet, but alas no. This book is the first book in a planned series of books, but the others will be about different creatures that have characteristics that they need to learn to deal with, not letters of the alphabet.Gere is wonderful, it's a showcase for him, doing his usual blinky performance. His desperation as Franny is pretty grim, especially one scene were his need for a fix is horrifically apparent.

There are so many cute and fluffy moments in this book that'll have you ON THE FLOOR. Their banter was to die for! But my favorite moment of their entire relationship was their first super romantic date night in NYC. I won't say more because I have to leave all the good magical stuff for y'all to experience! Honestly, the only thing I didn't care for all that much was their reason for the third-act break-up. It felt a little silly but in the end, I still enjoyed the book. A lovely, sweet book that I feel younger children will love, not only for the pictures but the well thought-out, interesting story. Can you meet your match on a New York Subway? The answer to that question can be found in In A New York Minute by Kate Spencer, a seriously fun, flirty, rom-com that is not to be missed! CW: death of parent (past), financial concerns due to loss of employment, DNA testing, complicated/strained parental relationships, hospitalization of family member (heart related) There is some late drama that made the ending feel a bit rushed and I would have loved a little more grovel and an epilogue, but the last scene was such a beautiful way to bring the story full circle. In a New York Minute brought me such joy while reading it and left my heart so full. I’m excited to see what Kate Spencer writes next.

Basically, if you have a young kid below the age of six get them this to read alone or with you, a definite recommendation. Add to this a wholesome supporting cast, best friends, family, quality witty banter, an alluring portrayal of New York: this adorable and lighthearted story was essentially an ode to friendship and happenstance. Franny's Feet first aired on Family Channel in Canada on July 8, 2003 and concluded on October 31, 2010. [2] [3] It also aired on PBS Kids in the United States and on Five in the United Kingdom. The series aired for three seasons and 52 episodes. I should have known that when you’re working for a company that promises to “disrupt” things, they might just mean your life.” As a rom-com, the love theme is definitely there but the slow burn romance between Franny and Hayes was too much on the light side for me, the focus was clearly given to both love interests singularities and introspection than their burning want for each other. I loved both characters but their contemplative prospect about one another was damn near infuriating. I'm so thankful for their respective pushy friends.
