The Kill Team (2160p/Dolby Vision, 11:02): A closer look at some of the unsung heroes on the filmmaking crew. It also explores some Minutes after Laurie Strode, her daughter Karen, and granddaughter Allyson left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie's basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie's trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. the sting of the otherwise repetitious nature. The material translates beautifully to Blu-ray; viewers will appreciate the level of fine point depth and

Let’s face it – there are films that are simply made to be “dark.” And I think we can all agree that any Halloween movie fits this bill. Even some of the daytime scenes (in any of them) isn’t exactly sunshine and rainbows if you get what I’m saying. Taking that into consideration, Halloween Kills takes place mostly at night as, well, it’s supposed to. The mask is different (though some painstaking details shown in one of the featurettes showed how they had to re-create the 1978 mask), but everything else is the same. The 2.39:1 HEVC 4K image has no problems with the shadows, detail is razor (sorry, couldn’t resist) sharp and all the other caveats apply. I’m running out of ways to express how good most every modern film looks. Suffice it to say that even if Halloween Kills isn’t up your alley, it still looks pretty darn good. Audio: How’s it sound? Haddonfield's Open Wounds (1080p, 7:15): A look at opening the Halloween story from the perspective of Haddonfield itself Strode Family Values (2160p/Dolby Vision, 3:37): Exploring the Strode family dynamics as they have evolved over four decades and as Blu-ray ALL Extended Cut Germany- Universal Pictures - No cuts - Includes the extended cut (109:09) and the theatrical cut (105:07)Blu-ray ALL Extended Cut Scandinavia- Svensk Filmindustri - No cuts - Includes the extended cut (109:09) and the theatrical cut (105:07) detail to the frame. There's a fine sense of organic dimensionality even in the 2-D realm. Details are very good, including the charred mask, various which is ironic given this film's Michael. He's an utter beast, brilliantly used and shot by David Gordon Green ( Halloween 2018, Joe, Pineapple Express), a complete force of nature and he's deployed with a huge number of kills (thirty-one to be precise!) that are bloody, brutal and totally crowd-pleasing. Getting Michael so right in a film that gets so much wrong is one of its saving graces, arguably the main reason for the film itself (who comes to a Halloween movie for a story, am I right?). And even its controversial ending, hinting at something altogether grander and stranger, seems to be giving us a nice twist on Michael for this year’s Halloween Ends. If it’s not already clear, Halloween Kills’ home video release very much stretches the definition of the phrase “Alternate Ending.” When one hears of an “Alternate Ending” typically, the expectation is a brand new version of the final scene that was not featured in the Theatrical Cut. That’s not what this is; this is more of an “Extended Ending” as part of the appropriately titled “Extended Cut.” the return of Dr. Loomis, the Michael Myers mask, and matching the film texture to the 1978 picture.

weapons being flung about the listening area. The overheads carry quite a bit of information, most of it supportive rather than discrete, but the extra Picture: Halloween Kills was shot on digital cameras for a 4K digital intermediate, and the resulting native 2160p disc image is as sharp as one of Michael Myers’ knives. Detailing is impeccable, bringing a palpable feeling of depth to the image. Transformations (1080p, 5:50): How the film explores more of the story from 1978 in this film from 2021. It looks at set design, examples of clothing, faces, and of course gore which is to be seen in all of its extreme, envelope pushing excess. Color output satisfies; much of the surrounding detail. Such holds through the film, much of which takes place at night and in low light. The contrast is just outstanding in these scenes,

The Kill Team– It takes a big team to create a film of this scale, especially when part of the task is raising the bar for Michael’s gruesome kills. We hear the people behind the mayhem discuss how they continue to push the franchise to new heights. Cut version). But even as the film ramps up the violence and the on-screen splatter, there's a certain copy-paste dynamic to the picture that editing and cadence hinder the end result. The film is very good in some respects, then, and stale in others. Gore fiends and franchise fans should rather than a single character or several characters. Still, it does focus on some of the individual characters, and the actors who play them, in the film The Power of Fear - The impact of Michael Myers' pure evil extends far beyond his victims. We examine how fear of The Shape changed the psychology of the people of Haddonfield.
