About this deal

Many warriors of the Horns wear the hashutaar, but why do these imposing hats differ between fighters? The designers explain.

Chaos Chariot ( Gorebeast Chariot) - Chaos Chosen - Chaos Knight - Chaos Marauder ( Horseman - War Mammoth) - Chaos Warrior - Chaos Warshrine - Fomoroid Crusher - Mindstealer Sphiranx - Ogroid Theridon It is surely an interesting bet, one that may pay off if the enemy’s Strength goes down reducing the number of successful hits, but also one that you would be more inclined to use with a Shatterer as he may not do as much damage. But you can’t. So the trade-off is definitely risky and worth assessing carefully. If a fighter is on the brink of death, could be giving him one last noteworthy action. Maybe even saving him if the god of dice smiles upon you. Use this ability when you want to deny an area to your opponent, such as an objective or treasure token. If those enemy fighters really want it, they’ll have to risk being weakened – making it easier for you to take them down! The Bloated Ones have been most blessed by their god, Lord Leech. While they might not realise it yet, they’re already a long way down the same path as the Putrid Blightkings .

What’s more, these miniatures will all be usable in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar – and by the end of the season, you’ll have enough scenery to fill an entire battlefield! The best thing of this ability is that almost everyone in the warband can use it. Meaning that you are likely to have someone in the right position to throw this bomb at the right moment. Provided you have at least a Triple.

Chaos Familiar - Chaos Spawn - Curs'd Ettin - Daemonic Mount - Gorebeast - Karkadrak - Manticore - Mutalith Vortex Beast - Raptoryx - Slaughterbrute However, in the case of the Horns, for a Double you are able to score critical hits on a 5+ instead of a 6 ( Merciless Cruelty, it requires the target fighter to have at least 5 Wounds). This changes a bit the statistics behind it and since they have the same point cost the right answer may lie in personal taste. While most of his followers are duardin (dwarves) corrupted by the forces of Chaos, any race can be enrolled in Hashut quest to transform everything in ashen wasteland. In particular all those that choose survival instead of uttermost destruction as Hashut’s armies leave nothing standing on their trail. Having lived in foetid swamplands for their entire lives, the Rotmire Creed have made the most of their surroundings. Their clothing and weaponry are all organic in nature, and they carry very few items with a smooth, manufactured finish. In many places, they are covered in moss and lichen – you can take the Creed out of the swamp, but you can’t take the swamp out of the Creed. So these are definitely the human forces of Hashut but from the sound of things there will be even more of them on the way. The next question I have is if these forces are going to play nice with the other chaos forces or not? And will they be able to borrow some Hobgrots in their army. The new Horns of Hashut warband certainly opens up a lot of interesting options for the future and could be the introduction for a new/revamp chaos duardin army. Horns of Hashut And ThonidaHost of the Everchosen - Legion of the First Prince - Knights of the Empty Throne - Cabalists - Despoilers - Idolators - Ravagers Stampede of Iron (Double, Everyone except Shatterer): A chance to do up to 6 damage at the end of a move action after engaging an enemy. The Horns of Hashut have been tasked with laying waste to the entire Gnarlwood . They know if they can find the crashed Seraphon void-ship known as the Eye of Chotec, they will be able to use its terraforming engines to transform the lush forest into a volcanic, ashen desert – Hashut prefers a beach holiday to a jungle cruise. They have been tasked to destroy the Gnarlwood as a starting point for Hashut conquest of Thondia, an alpha continent in the Realm of Beasts. But this task proved too difficult for them as every tree they felt, every stratagem they adopted to wound the land, was rebuked by Ghur.

The new boxed set features both of these warbands alongside the stunning Gnarlwood scenery , and it’s just the beginning of a dramatic new season of Warcry. Heart of Ghur will be followed up with major quarterly releases featuring brand new miniatures, and more terrain to expand your corner of the Gnarlwood. The Horns of Hashut are bringers of ruin and desolation, heralds sent by the Father of Darkness to claim territories in advance of his marching legions. Each region they conquer is pulverised and stripped of life, rendered into a wasteland upon which can be erected sprawling daemon-forges and dark armouries. Reaction Runemark

The Horns of Hashut have a range of faction-specific Abilities that reflect their love of fire and destruction. One of our favourites, as much for its awesome name as its use in game, is the Engulfing Flames of Dark Artifice . This ability can be used by a Demolisher armed with a flamehurler, who can then finish off any survivors with this arcane device that belches gouts of infernal fire. Though their ranks consist almost entirely of humans, the Horns of Hashut worship the evil duardin deity of the same name, a shadowy deity with an unquenchable lust for domination and cruelty. In exchange for their continued existence, these masked war-thralls have sworn themselves utterly to the worship of this dark entity and the service of his tyrannical followers. [1a] Role Hashut is worshipped by Chaos-corrupted Duardin, masters of internal industry that utilise their industrial might to advance the deitiy's aims. [7] He is worshipped by the Duardin of the Legion of Azgorh and amongst them is Shar'tor, his favoured Ba'hal headman. The creations of his priesthood are the Ba'hal, fusions of centaur and duardin blessed with Hashut's wrath, and the K'daai Fireborn, born from daemonic fire caged in metal. [2] He is worshipped by the twisted Duardin forgemasters that rule over the Forge Anathema. They will not utter his name to the uninitiated, only referring to him by his title as the Father of Darkness. [1a] Engulfing Flames of Dark Artifice (Triple, Demolisher with Flamehurler): A chance to do up to 18 damage to a near-by enemy and half of it to close-by fighters.
