The base is a woody mix of cedar and tolu balsam with a touch of vetiver thrown in. It gives Power Cologne the feel of the original Power in the woodiness. Where the original went for amber to warm things up, in this fragrance vetiver keeps the woods on the clean and fresh side of the fragrance line, which is appropriate for a modern cologne.
