This weekend of family fun will once again feature a host of hot air balloon taking to the skies above Longleat for the Estate’s very own hot air balloon festival. Longleat’s Sky Safari runs this weekend led by the famous lion shaped balloon Posted on: 05 Sep 2023 The daily schedule for the weekend is morning mass launch (7 AM), tethered hot air balloon displays (10.30 AM), model ballooning (11.30 AM), tethered hot air balloon displays (2.30 PM), entertainment with fire performances and Jamma de Samba (4.45 PM), evening launch (5 PM), Night Glow (8 PM). They will be joined by penguins Splash, Puddles and Tall Steve alongside Wes the wolf, a cheetah, a panther, a sheep and a flying rabbit. Other unusual flying objects include a screwdriver, a whiskey bottle, a coffee jar and a giant pair of lips. Highlights for the weekend include the mass launches where more than 100 balloons are launched over Longleat House and the surrounding grounds. The event place in both the morning and the afternoon, giving you plenty of time to explore the park’s other attractions.

AndImTheQueenOfSheba: A sort of variant occurs with Martin managing to get some water in Koala Balloon. Chris is being sarcastic, but he ''does'' have a needle embedded into his butt all the same. More than 100 hot air balloons are set to take to the skies above Longleat as part of its spectacular Sky Safari. Longleat has announced the details of its Sky Safari next month, with more than 115 balloons set to lift off if the weather allows.
