About this deal

Clark, Roger N. (1990). Visual astronomy of the deep sky. Cambridge University Press. p.98. ISBN 9780521361552. This dramatic image offers a peek inside a cavern of roiling dust and gas where thousands of stars are forming. The image, taken by the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) aboard NASA/ ESA Hubble Space Telescope, represents the sharpest view ever taken of this region, called the Orion Nebula. More than 3,000 stars of various sizes appear in this image. Some of them have never been seen in visible light. These stars reside in a dramatic dust-and-gas landscape of plateaus, mountains, and valleys that are reminiscent of the Grand Canyon. A supernova occurs when a high-mass star reaches the end of its life. When nuclear fusion in the core of the star stops, the star collapses. The gas falling inward either rebounds or gets so strongly heated that it expands outwards from the core, thus causing the star to explode. [23] The expanding shell of gas forms a supernova remnant, a special diffuse nebula. [23] Although much of the optical and X-ray emission from supernova remnants originates from ionized gas, a great amount of the radio emission is a form of non-thermal emission called synchrotron emission. [23] This emission originates from high-velocity electrons oscillating within magnetic fields. The Nebula gives scope for pretty much every condition, has ample presence and good run-times. That said, while I've been grateful of the 100 lumens in very specific contexts, I'd suggest it's generally more than most of us would need. Verdict

There are some bicycle components that impress me straight out of the box—the Moon Nebula Rear Light is one such product. Beautifully made, with an impressive 200 lumen output, and an outstanding battery life; this is one of the best rear bicycle lights I have had on review to date.a b c d e f g h i j F. H. Shu (1982). The Physical Universe. Mill Valley, California: University Science Books. ISBN 0-935702-05-9. During this massive collision, nearly all of Earth and Theia melted and reformed as one body, with a small part of the new mass spinning off to become the Moon as we know it. The Orion Nebula is 1,500 light-years away, the nearest star-forming region to Earth. Astronomers used 520 Hubble images, taken in five colours, to make this picture. They also added ground-based photos to fill out the nebula. The ACS mosaic covers approximately the apparent angular size of the full moon. Constant modes are: low (15 lumen), standard (30 lumen), high (45 lumen) and overdrive (the full 100 lumens). Flashing follows a similar narrative: 10 lumens, 50 lumens and 100 lumens, plus strobe, which is a town-sensible 20 lumens. A memory function ensures you can default to a favourite setting. People are now tending to gravitate towards the idea that early Earth and Theia were made of almost exactly the same materials to begin with, as they were within the same neighbourhood as the solar system was forming,' explains Sara.

The Nebula pumps out a commendable 240 lumens in top and uses the same COB (Chips on Board) technology as the Moon Ring, tested in November, although in this instance it crams in a whopping 30 diodes, and an oval rubberised on/off mode switch. Due to the fact a rear light is only required to act as a safety beacon, rather than providing illumination to see by, it doesn’t have to be as powerful as a front light. Twenty lumens is a reasonable starting point, but the latest and greatest lights can pump out up to 300 lumens. If you plan on using your rear lamp during the day, the brighter the better, as it has to work harder to stand out - but be careful not to dazzle other road users at night. Also look out for lights with a range of settings, so you can tailor the brightness according to the riding conditions and battery life.Hubble, E. P. (December 1922). Some nebulae (more than one nebula) come from the gas and dust thrown out by the explosion of a dying star, such as a supernova. Other nebulae are regions where new stars are beginning to form. For this reason, some nebulae are called "star nurseries." So, in short, there's no excuse for not lighting up. Rear lights are more affordable and brighter than ever before, so you should be able to find something that fits your budget and riding style. Now let’s take a look at the best rear lights you can get for your money.
