About this deal

Cup Noodles are often seen in the 2012 video game Binary Domain, which is set in a futuristic version of Tokyo. It is commonly seen in billboards and advertisements throughout the city, and is even seen being eaten by some characters. Cup Noodles were also prominently featured as product placement in the 2016 video game Final Fantasy XV. This partnership also resulted in a crossover TV ad in Japan. [9]

I've been eating - I mean reviewing a lot of sweets lately, so let's look at something on the savoury side. We got a big one today too. It's Nissin's Cup Noodle! Nissin's Cup Noodle are the instant cup noodles in Japan, much like Mr. Noodles in Canada. However Cup Noodle is way more grand and significant! Moving to the products we are review today, we have the 3 basic flavours: original, seafood, and curry. The original has your standard soup with shrimp, pork, scrambled egg, and green onions. The seafood has a pork and seafood soup with squid, crab-flavoured kamaboko, scrambled eggs, cabbage, and green onions. The curry has a mild curry soup and pork, potato, carrots, and green onion. For all three flavours, the noodles are flat and thin, so they mix well with the soups. They're pretty light tasting. They don't have a super strong "instant noodles" taste. The soup is not too salty. The brand name Cup Noodle is also a registered trademark of Nissin Foods. [1] In some countries, such as Japan, this singular formCup Noodle is used. The product has inspired various competing products, such as Maruchan's Instant Lunch. Maltodextrin, dehydrated vegetables [maize, cabbage (contains LACTOSE), carrot, green onion], dehydrated SHRIMP (contains SESAME), flavourings (contains SHRIMP, ANCHOVY, CUTTLEFISH), white sugar, flavour enhancer (E621, E627, E631), palm oil, yeast extracts, dehydrated CUTTLEFISH, dehydrated COD FISH roll ( COD FISH, EGG WHITE, potato starch, flavourings), hydrolysed SOYA protein, onion powder, shallot, dried SCALLOP (0.5%), garlic powder, SOYA sauce powder ( SOYA BEANS, WHEAT, salt), corn syrup, salt, spices, humectant (E422), colour (E150a, E160c), chilli flakes, MILK protein, antioxidant (E306, E304)

I know I compared these to Mr. Noodles, but these are much better. They aren't super salty and have nice toppings that make them feel like more of a meal. 1 cup is pretty filling for me too. The original is my favourite. The toppings are just so tasty! I like the seafood flavour's soup, but I'm not a fan of squid. Personally, I don't really care for curry soups, I rather just eat curry. I felt like it had the least amount of toppings too. But don't let that stop you from trying it! Today, instant noodles in Japan are often sold in foam bowls, sometimes with plastic utensils. Foam bowls are inexpensive, disposable, light, and easy to hold, since they insulate heat well. Different flavors are available in other parts of the world, such as tom yum in Thailand, curry in Japan, crab in Hong Kong, and churrasco in Brazil. [5] WHEAT flour, Palm Oil, Tapioca Starch, Salt, Flavour Enhancer (E621, E627, E631), Acidity Regulator (E170, E501, E451, E500, E330), Onion Powder] Dehydrated vegetables [Cabbage (contains LACTOSE), Maize, Carrot, Green Onion), Dehydrated SHRIMP (contains SESAME), Flavourings (contains SHRIMP, ANCHOVY, CUTTLEFISH), White Sugar, Flavour Enhancer (E621, E627, E631), Palm Oil, Yeast Extracts, Dehydrated CUTTLEFISH, Dehydrated COD FISH Roll ( COD FISH, EGG WHITE, Potato Starch, Flavourings), Hydrolysed SOYA Protein, Onion Powder, Shallot, Dried SCALLOP (0.5%), Garlic Powder, SOYA Sauce Powder ( SOYA BEANS, WHEAT, Salt), Corn Syrup, Salt, Spices, Humectant (E422), Colour (E160c, E150a), Chilli Flakes, MILK Protein, Antioxidant (E306, E304) The squid bits are squishy. I don't like the texture of squid, but this one is manageable for me. The cabbage is hard and crunchy.

The regular one has a slight broth smell. The seafood noodles has a strong seafood smell. It lingers in the air for quite a bit. The curry has a strong curry smell. Overall Li, Shan (15 September 2016). "Cup Noodles changes its recipe for the first time ever, hopping on the healthier food trend". Los Angeles Times . Retrieved September 16, 2016. This instant noodles series is believed to be the first cup noodles. Cup Noodle and modern instant noodles were invented by Momofuku Ando of Nissin. This is a greatly shortened overview of its history, but next time you enjoy cup noodles, give a little thanks to Ando! The shrimp and beef and soft enough to bite through but are still solid. The egg definitely has that re-hydrated egg squishiness to it, but it's not bad.
