Art Evolution: Quite noticeable on the small parts made for the space ship collection and Lacrima Christi. Issue 4 has our heroes hiding out on the planet Sudra, scraping a living where they can while hiding away from the clutches of Ludovica’s minions. The crazed Miracle Genie is driven mad by his lust to release Agape, leading to a confrontation against Noa. Cleopatra suffers a devastating fall and only the missing Noa’s miracles can save her.

Scenery Porn: The gorgeous pans of the architecture and busts of crying angels in Ludovica's room, while the Miraculatore takes her from behind stands out. Wise Beyond Their Years: Cleopatra gives Noa advice when she's struggling to choose between reuniting with the Miraculatore or running away with Roy. For each aircraft to be recorded press the "Record" button (press R): the plus (+) sign in the button icon indicates that aircraft will be added to the existing flight! The erotic nature of the character designs and depiction of female bodies are generously represented; this is expressed conversely in details such as the Sacred Fish character in volume two. However at the same time themes of sexual repression are strongly prevalent, Noa herself a product of a sexually predatory society, and the comedic elements of the story are often harshly juxtaposed with the sexually abusive landscape. While working at a bordello/bar, Noa gets involved with a doll's secret plan to use voodoo rites to become human. Probably named after the Jimi Hendrix song " Voodoo Child (Slight Return)". Robot women, the Sky Dolls, are actively prevented from developing complex personalities at all and are seen as walking, talking boob and booty dispensers. Sky Doll is an Italian comic book series first published in 2000, by Alessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa, who also collaborated on W.I.T.C.H. and Monster Allergy; Sky Doll features a more "adult" story and a departure from pure fantasy to a more science-fiction aesthetic. Stalker Shrine: The Miracle Genie has one to Agape. Kind of. Hard to stalk someone who's been missing and/or dead for many years.

The first issue shows this world is a more adult themed expedition than previous outings by the authors. Religion is the foremost authority, mass media controls the populace and sex is what drives the economy. The Sexual Goddess Ludovica has murdered her sister Agape and gained unquestioned loyalty from the populace. Through blessed ‘miracles’ she shows her powers in heavily advertised arena shows to the masses. Cut to our unlikely heroes Roy and Jahu as they get a car wash from a bunch of sexy robotic Dolls. After an accidental scuffle they end up running off not knowing about a stowaway in their cupboard. The Sky Doll Noa has ran away with them and is in a hurry to get away from her violent master. They are off to the planet Aqua, to complete their mission given by the goddess. Tears from a Stone: Sky dolls can't cry unless modified to do so. Guess what Noa can do? And do with them? Only Good People May Pass: The story features Aqua, the world of (another) alien species who are devoted to harmony and peace. To keep aggression away, the method of entering Aqua expects that the individual seeking entrance can "purify their mind" through meditating in a specific place. It's proven not quite failsafe when an assassinator manages to enter by using a specific drug. Downer Ending: One in the Spaceship Collection and many of the stories in Lacrima Christi end this way. Roy: a young idealist and papal emissary. At first beginning the mission with enthusiasm, the trials of their journey may transform him into a cynical and rebellious individual.
