About this deal

Prior to load testing, we collect idle temperature results for ten minutes to determine the unloaded cooling performance of a case's fans and air channels. Thermal benchmarking is conducted for 1400 seconds (23 minutes), a period we've determined sufficient for achieving equilibrium. The over-time data is aggregated and will occasionally be compiled into charts, if interesting or relevant. The equilibrium performance is averaged to create the below charts. Founded in 1994, Corsair started by making Level 2 cache modules for OEMs. After Intel incorporated the L2 cache into the processor, Corsair refocused and started making DRAM modules. Fast forward to 2018, and they have become one of the leading names in the high-end PC industry. Over the years, with their groundbreaking technology and innovation, they have expanded their line of products to include high-performance memory, ultra-efficient PSUs, cases, PC and CPU cooling solutions, SSDs, keyboards, mice, and headsets. Additional rad space won't guarantee better performance, it will just give you the option to have similar performance with less noise as you can run your fans at lower fan speeds. The less rad space you have the faster your fans have to run. One thing that really stands out with the 680X RGB is the absolutely gorgeous LL120 fans. Pictures do not do these fans justice and you really need to see them in person.

Three crystal-clear tempered glass panels, fitted in the front, roof and a hinged easy-access side panel door, provide a stunning view of your PC’s high-profile components. Founded in 1994, CORSAIR has grown from pioneering the high-performance DRAM market into one of the world’s leading providers of high-performance PC peripherals and components. CORSAIR offers a complete range of products to equip gamers, enthusiasts and e-sports athletes, including mechanical keyboards, precision gaming mice, wireless headsets, high-performance components that gamers use to build gaming PCs, and the CORSAIR ONE fully-integrated gaming PC. With a company-wide commitment to quality, innovative design, advanced features and high performance, CORSAIR products have won thousands of media and industry awards, earning their place in gamers’ hands and PCs following years of development and engineering by a team dedicated to building great products they themselves would want to use. After selecting the Lighting Node PRO from the device list, you get an additional navigation bar on the right to configure the device as well as the lighting for any attached fans. In the left pane, you will notice a photo of the Lighting Node PRO as well as its current configuration below the image. For our 680X, the three LL120 fans are installed on port one so we go ahead and adjust the configuration to reflect this. Basically, is my thinking sound on this? It might seem like a dumb or obvious question but as I've never done vertical mounting before I'm not sure. Cheers! The 678C’s refined styling belies its massive cooling and storage options, which are among the most impressive of any CORSAIR ATX case. With room to install up to nine 120mm fans and multiple radiators, including dual 360mm radiators, the 678C can accommodate a wealth of custom cooling to match the highest spec systems. A modular drive bay system allows the 678C to host a huge array of storage and accessories, with room for up to 1x 5.25in drive, 6x 3.5in and 3x 2.5in drives, and the potential to add a further 2x 3.5in drives with additional trays. We are grateful to the many people who have contributed to our manual collection, either by supplying manuals or circuits or tidying up manuals and circuits to make them more readable. So i do really like this case, easy to build in, nice finish and you can really build a nice system inside.. however i have a serious issue with the space with my current setup, Corsair’s 680X RGB arrives in a large box (425mm x 500mm x 584mm) that has some heft to it weighing in at just above 25 lbs. On the front of the box, we are presented with a profile shot of the 680X with some Corsair branding in the upper left corner and another enlarged logo behind the case drawing. High-resolution images of the CORSAIR Crystal Series 680X RGB and the CORSAIR Carbide Series 678C can be found at the links below:Install up to 8x 120mm or 7x 140mm fans for massive cooling potential, with room to mount up to four radiators. Now that the Light Node PRO has been configured, we can adjust the lighting effect for port 1 using the left navigation pane. Also, I am planning on using soft tubing, only because it is my first build and I want to make it easier on myself, and I believe it allows for a little wiggle room here and there. Once you have selected your desired lighting effect, you can see how it will look in the upper right pane. If you which to change attributes such as the speed, direction, and colors you can do this on the lower portion of the screen.

Visor – Random/alternating colors moving across the LEDs then bouncing off the last one and returning to the start A few things to note, I wasn't sold on the vertical mounting of the GPU, but I love the way it looks in your setup, what kind of PCIe Riser Cable are you using? I want one that will be compatible with PCIe 4.0 since I have it and wouldn't want to abandon it for aesthetics only. I'd make sure that Cooler master part is compatible with your Corsair case. It seems pretty big, and specifically made for specific models of Coolermaster cases. The 680X comes with four fans: three front intake and one rear exhaust. That’s plenty, and they’re placed where we would have chosen to put them, so additional tests were limited to removing the entire front panel and moving the bottom-most intake fan underneath the GPU to see if it would benefit it more. CPU Torture Thermals - Corsair 680XWe measured the 680X at 42.5 dBA. It could certainly run quieter with decreased fan speeds, but there are four 120mm fans, and the large air gaps around the front panel do very little to muffle the noise generated at max speed. The trouble with all of this is that the Corsair 680X is not particularly quiet nor particularly effective at cooling, which is odd since it is named the “680X RGB High Airflow.” Conclusion: Corsair 680X vs. Lian Li O11 Dynamic

Once removed you can install any fans/radiators as well as attach the included magnetic dust filter.

Easily install up to 3x 3.5in and 4x 2.5in drives in tool-free drive mounts, for high-capacity, flexible storage configurations. The Corsair Crystal 680X came to market with a part number of CC-9011169-WW, which is not as simple to be able to remember as some we have reviewed previously. The dimensions of the cube style mid-tower come in at 505mm tall, 423mm deep, and 344mm wide. As you can see, the width is quite higher than a normal mid-tower, and this is due to the dual chamber design, which houses the storage and PSU behind the motherboard tray. Acrylic tubing (Corsairs Hardline options) are not ideal to start. Find and use the same dimension PETG tubing and use that. Acrylic is entirely plausible as you can see from my build, but its a lot more messing around for nearly that exact same result. The iCUE comes with a lot of predefined lighting effects that you can additionally configure settings for, such as speed, color, and direction.
