To celebrate its centenary in 2019, Citroën has previously released the C3 Aircross ‘Origins’ Collector’s Edition. Introduced to pay homage to 100 years of creativity and boldness for the brand, from October 2019, both the ‘Origins’ and the entry level ‘Feel’ trim level will benefit from the fitment of new ‘A-Class’ low rolling resistance tyres for further improved efficiency. The personalisation options available on the C3 Aircross have been upgraded to satisfy every customer need. New C3 Aircross SUV can now be specified with a broad range of exterior style combinations based around seven body colours – three are new for 2021: 'Khaki Grey', 'Voltaic Blue' and 'Polar White'. The scooter charges up in five and a half hours, according to Pure, which is one hour longer than the 2020 model. Just remember that you probably won't be charging the thing from 0%, though, so it usually won't take quite that long. Riding Engine-wise, C5 Aircross are offered a choice of four quite different engines. The two conventional ones - a 1.2-litre PureTech petrol unit and a 1.5-litre BlueHDi diesel - both develop 130hp and both can be had with the option of the brand's smooth-shifting EAT8 8-speed autogearbox. The alternative units are electrified - of course. The most recently added powerplant is a mild hybrid version of the PureTech petrol powerplant we just mentioned, which gets a 48V battery that sends power to a 12bhp electric motor offering 55Nm of torque. The mild hybrid system works with a new six-speed dual clutch auto gearbox designed especially for it and offers 'Charge', 'Eco' and 'Power' modes. And has a 135bhp combined output (6bhp more than the non-hybrid petrol variant) with 230Nm of pulling power.
