About this deal

Parts of the book just had me grinning like crazy - almost in a way that was a little reminiscent of the Neighbor from Hell books but.. in high school. Gah! It felt wrong but I just couldn't stop smiling in certain places. But then something would happen that would sober me right up. The whole ordeal is just so bloody infuriating, all I wanted was some bleach to douse my- no wait, their eyes out with. Not a single character in the book that I could give less of a damn about! They were all just...so...

I still think one of the few authors who managed to portray a hero who was a jerk but was truly repentant of his ways and manages to be likable in turns was Kody Keplinger. Granted, "The DUFF" is YA, and this is NA, but at the same time - that felt more real of a story than this one and truly had something to say about its characters and the issues/conflicts it presented. "Bully" was shallow, underdeveloped, and fetishizing a major social and societal problem in comparison. Once I started this book, I had trouble putting it down! It captivated me from the beginning. This is a topic not everyone is comfortable reading about, but I think it was pretty awesome that she went with it. And for being a YA book- there was some really nice steam in there ;)) Unfastening my seatbelt, I looked over to her. “Well, just remember…if I get uncomfortable, I’m gone. You catch a ride with Liam.”I blame Twilight for my love of mean-angry bullies that become uber protective once they finally let someone in. And Zsadist. *sigh* That whole first scene when he first met Bella, and she saw how scarred and scary he looked?

Supervised Population Information List". Dc.state.fl.us. August 29, 1975. Archived from the original on September 23, 2015 . Retrieved August 19, 2010. Bully was originally slated for a wide theatrical release, but these plans were derailed due to executive changes at Lions Gate three weeks before release. [16] Clark had sought an R rating for the film, but the MPAA ruled in favor of an NC-17. [15] [14] Clark chose to release the film unrated, and it opened on July 13, 2001 to a total of six theaters, later expanding to 20 theaters at its widest. [4] [16]

Principal photography of Bully began August 21, 2000, in southern Florida. [20] Filming took place at many of the locations where the real-life incidents occurred. [16] The crew was originally given 40 days to complete filming, but this was reduced to 23 days due to budgetary restrictions from Lions Gate. [16] The shoot was said to be "chaotic" due to a "compressed production schedule, tempestuous weather conditions, and behind-the-scenes drama." [16] Ashley: Omg I’m reading Untouchable and I just don’t know! It all feels so wrong! I don’t think I’ve ever read such a dark romance. He better not ruin this for me,” I said, the force of my voice sounding more forceful than usual. Enjoying one party with my best friend before I left town for a year wasn't asking too much. Even after everything he'd done, part of me still missed that boy who was my waking thought and constant companion as a kid. But that Jared was gone now. In his place was a sour, hateful douchbag that had no regard for me."
