One of the plus points while reading this novel was that I kept on bookmarking certain scenes, dialogues, and words. I loved how Penelope Sky has written this story. It is simple yet in-depth in so many ways that are unexplainable unless and until one reads it thoroughly. Going forward, there are some confusing scenes between Crow, the male protagonist and his brother in the starting. In my opinion, there are some grammatical errors in the ebook which I bought online. The main substance of the novel mentioned in the blurb actually appears in the latter half of the book. Initially, it is all about how Pearl gets dragged down into the dark world where nothing is certain. If she commits a mistake, she can die the next second or be a victim of something worse. The first half of the book is all about her discovering the ways to her survival.

Especially towards the end, when we were figuring out what Crow and Button meant to each other, alongside themselves, we needed that little extra sexual tension to keep the heat up.
