The 9100 access point must not join any existing controller in the network when you are trying to load the EWC image. If you have an existing controller on your network that the AP can join, conversion will not be successful. An interface is a logical entity on an EWC. The management interface must be configured and is used for in-band management: web UI, Telnet/SSH Command-Line Interface (CLI), or telemetry and programmable interface with NETCONF/YANG.
