About this deal

Dust Extracted – the drying process which prevents the growth of fungal spores and contaminants and the rigorous dust extraction process both help to maintain a healthy respiratory system. The high feed value of Readigrass makes it an ideal feed for all rabbits, including those that are breeding or growing. The high fibre content enables a healthy digestive system to be maintained and helps to prevent overgrown teeth.

After visiting a friend that uses Readigrass she gave me a small bag to try as my old boy suffers i was concerned about him having it but my vet advised me because i have no grass in the field where he is along with my mare it would be fine to feed it he is a different pony 30 years old in may his coat is more shiney and he looks great now so big thanks for a great product Ann Timothy grass offers a slightly, different taste to other grasses. It is great for stimulating appetite and is tempting even to the fussiest of feeders. So I'm guessing that pet rabbits probably need lower protein levels than wild ones. But it probably also depends on how much exercise they get, whether they have twigs to gnaw, how many pellets you give, what food they're used to and the breed of rabbit (apparently smaller breeds may have higher energy requirements). Our first bunnies Daisy & Duke loved to munch on grass but Duke had a very sensitive tummy and every spring the fresh rich grass would upset him a bit so we had to limit grass time around then for him. Thank goodness for readigrass!!! My bunny won’t eat hay or grass, and I had bought 8 different brands of different types of hay in an attempt to get her to eat hay to no avail. By chance I read about readigrass and how even the fussiest rabbit would eat it and decided to try the green oat readigrass and I am so happy my bunny happily ate it. Thank you!!!I can't recommend readigrass enough. My miniture Shetland foal became very poorly last year and ended up having colic surgery. Due to his young age and the surgery we had to be very careful when feeding. Readigrass has been great for this. He loves it. It's really helped us introduce food following his surgery. Thank you for this feed

My Degus (6 of them) LOVE this so much and the Green Oats version! It’s the first thing they eat when I set their food out every morning! They need hay in their diet but they don’t want to eat it so as soon as I saw this they go absolutely crazy for it! Thankfully this exists and helps with their nutrition! Although ReadiGrass is marketed primarily as a horse feed, it also makes a great complementary feed for small animals – the perfect alternative to conventional hay – high quality grass with only the water removed. High in fibre grass is a fantastic and natural food for your bunny to eat and their unique digestive systems are built to process it efficiently. In fact grass and hay is generally much more important to their deit than commercial rabbit pellets ('nuggets').

ReadiGrass is 100% grass with nothing added – guaranteed! It can be fed as a chaff to prevent bolting of feed. Alternatively it can be fed in larger quantities to enhance or completely replace the forage ration. Our piggies love this, and go nuts when they smell a new bag being opened. They leave none. In fact, it smells so good, I feel like eating it myself. Friendly Green Oat Readigrass i s made exclusively from Friendship Estates fields in the heart of Yorkshire and harvested at an early stage whilst still fresh and green before the grain develops. Rosewood Naturals Nibble & Dig Meadow Friendly ReadiGrass is an aromatic forage made with British grass grown exclusively from fields in the heart of Yorkshire that is naturally dried. There are lots of ways to feed grass to your rabbits whether they are house rabbits or you if don't have much lawn space.Friendly Green Oat ReadiGrass is a delicious alternative to dried grass or hay and can add variety to your pet’s diet. It is suitable for: rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus. Good quality forage, dried grass, timothy, green oat or hay should form the major part of the diet of these animals. My 10 year old welsh D has always had problems with his droppings when stabled for any longer than 12 hours Become loose Tried all sorts of different regimes to help him with little effect Then tried Readigrass Well what a life changer, he now has just a heaped scoop, dampened down in the morning and evening, when in his stable and his droppings are perfect Thank you so much Lovely, good quality grass to give to any small pets. My guinea pigs love it. This is to compliment any other food & hay you are giving your pets. If you do not have a lawn at home then readigrass is a nice idea for your pet.

Remember you can always ask your vet for advice if you are unsure and baby rabbits dietary needs and suitability will be different to adult rabbits. Are grass clippings from the lawn mower safe? The horse one has 15% protein content, whereas the Friendly readygrass (used to be Pure Dried Grass) only has 12%. But then on the Hay experts they list the 15% figure for Pure Dried Grass. So I suspect it's just variation between the samples tested and they're actually from the same source. Or maybe they've changed the product. I can’t rate Readigrass highly enough. It is excellent for keeping weight on my 27 year old warmblood. The quality is so much better than the cheaper brands (which he won’t eat) and it is worth every penny.Rabbits in the wild do eat mostly grass but they get a lot more exercise than most pet rabbits and their teeth get a lot more wear through gnawing branches. Please also see Friendly ReadiGrass for small animals. Readigrass is available nationwide from all good feedstores. Normal lawn grass is generally totally safe for your rabbits however if your bunny isn't used to eating grass then it should be introduced to their diet slowly. A delicious high fibre source, ideal for many small animals including: rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus. Providing plenty of natural high fibre forage is important in maintaining a healthy digestive system and good wear for your pet’s teeth.
