About this deal

So, the obvious question is, how do you know how much heat your plants need? What temperature should you keep the inside of the greenhouse at? Well, that’s where your/your neighbour’s horticultural knowledge/reference books come in or a google search. Learn more about greenhouse ventilation if you don’t know why fan controllers are so important. WILLHI WH1436A

In terms of construction, it’s a robust unit overall, with a stainless-steel body and plastic handle. Plus, it has a water-resistance rating of IPX4, meaning that it this Bio Green heater will be protected from splashing washer (great news for anyone with a tendency to slop the ol’ watering can around!).

Thermometers

As mentioned, a lot of digital thermometers will provide max/min temperature readings as well as the current temperature. But why is this useful? Upgrade your greenhouse's climate control system with the advanced Greenhouse Thermostat "THERMO2." This digital thermostat takes your gardening and cultivation to a whole new level by saving energy and providing precise control over your greenhouse environment. Win: The Dimplex Tubular Heater is designed with energy efficiency in mind. It is engineered to convert a high percentage of energy into heat, minimizing energy wastage and reducing operating costs. The heater's efficient performance helps you create a cosy environment while being mindful of energy consumption. This product has both heating and cooling options for more accurate control in case you also plug in a greenhouse heater. Specs

Paraffin heaters don’t allow you to regulate the temperature that much. They are better suited for keeping the frost out of the greenhouse in autumn, winter and early spring rather than regulating the temperature to a particular degree. They don’t have built-in thermostats or thermometers and you have to manually turn them on and off. The heater will continue running by itself until it runs out of fuel. Being able to control the overall humidity in your greenhouse is an essential part of the growing process; if the humidity is too high, it can interfere with plant transpiration, which inevitably slows down plant growth. On the other hand, if humidity is too low, it can accelerate transpiration to levels the roots can’t keep up with, leaving plants dry and wilted. Greenhouse thermometers are a great way to monitor the temperature without a lot of effort. Here you will find some useful information to help you choose the best greenhouse thermometer. They’re a good option for keeping temperatures just above 0°C, but you can’t expect much more from them – especially if it’s very cold out. They have quite a low heat output overall, but it’s sufficient to stop greenhouse plants getting affected by frost. Energy Efficiency and Running CostsGreenhouse Heaters will not only keep your greenhouse at an appropriate temperature in the winter months, it will also provide more growing opportunities. Some thermometers don’t mention any form of weatherproofing, in which case you should presume that they haven’t got any. For a greenhouse thermometer to be long lasting and effective, it should ideally at least describe itself as ‘water resistant’. Stopping condensation is essential if you want to reap maximum growing benefits from your greenhouse. Condensation constantly building up in your greenhouse can cause several issues such as disease spreading among your plants and unsightly and unhygienic mildew build-up on the glazing which encourages pests and stops light coming in. This heater is splash resistant, so the occasional splash of water from your greenhouse irrigation system that lands on the tube will not damage the unit. However, it is not waterproof so be careful not to place it under a water system or water over it. Ensure you position it somewhere dry.
