The maximum number of colors, which the display is able to reproduce, depends on the type of the panel in use and color enhancing technologies like FRC. Interestingly, given the huge sizes and next-gen credentials we're talking about, this new consumer MicroLED TV boasts 'only' a 4K resolution. That's because the size of the individual MicroLEDs (each of which represents a single pixel, remember) means there are physical limitations to pixel density (how many pixels can be crammed into each inch of screen). In other words, MicroLEDs will have to get even smaller before MicroLED TVs become available at smaller sizes and higher resolutions.

To znamená, že má (v těch úhlopříčkách kde má Q80A IPS panel) výrazně lepší černou a menší problémy s bloomingem a cloudingem. Naopak Q80A vede v maximálním jasu, kde dosahuje cca o 20 % větších hodnot než Q80T. V pokrytí barevného spektra jsou na velmi obdobné úrovni. V obou případech se rovněž jedná o panel typu 8 bit + FRC. Barevné přechody tedy nejsou zcela dokonalé, ale v běžném provozu se musíte hodně pozorně koukat, aby nedokonalosti byli vidět. Q80T má kupodivu výrazně lepší i zvládání slunečních odlesků. Když to shrnu, tak Q80T je v mnoha ohledech lepší televize a její následník je v kontextu svého předchůdce lehké zklamání. Ona mnohé naznačuje i cena, která je u obou modelů v tuto chvíli skoro totožná. V případech kdy jsou oba televizory rovnocené, je cena novějšího modelu většinou o několik desítek procent vyšší. Kdybych měl Q80A někomu doporučit, tak nejspíš hráčům, kteří u televize tráví většinu času přes den. Pro náročné filmové diváky vhodná není, pro ty nenáročné je naopak zbytečně drahá a stejně dobře poslouží nějaký základní model z AU série.
