About this deal

This model is constructed similarly to the Marvel mechs, incorporating the same angled limb elements and measuring 13cm in height, which is only marginally taller than the Marvel sets. Boba Fett's vehicle appears substantially stronger though, with broader legs and impressive shoulder armour. Only 76242 Thanos Mech Armour is really comparable. Is lego intentionally decreasing the value of UCS figures? First the UCS y-wing gold leader pilot and astromech in yavin 4 base and now UCS slave 1 fett in a cheap set?" Now you can with the LEGO® Builder app, featuring intuitive zoom and rotate modes Some fans were hoping LEGO would update the colour of Boba’s helmet to a more accurate dark green shade, but a brand new minifigure might be a bit of a big ask for the cheapest set in the wave. LEGO Slave I (Star Wars Celebration VI Exclusive) LEGO Slave I (Star Wars Celebration VI Exclusive) The LEGO Star Wars team genuinely was on the verge of greatness with 75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter: it’s a solid rendition of Slave I that slots very neatly into the wider Microfighter range, while plugging another gap in the long list of LEGO Firespray-class ships. I guess there was some kind of memo that went out. But equally surprising is that Disney didn’t get the note. It should be “Enslaved Person(s) One.”

Background

Fett fits nicely in his ship, though, and that’s an advantage he has over most other Microfighter sets; usually, the minifigure is awkwardly straddling the top of the build like some forlorn astromech. The ship has the two expected laser cannons, too, though if you’re expecting them to really go pew pew, you might be disappointed—they just plop onto the floor when I launch them. (Though, if I’m honest, I prefer this to constantly losing them under the couch.) Thanks for reading! Let me know your thoughts, and if you plan on buying this set, in the comments below! At 85 pieces, Fett’s iconic ship fits right in with the Microfighter family. The deep greens and reds really bring the ship to life, and the unforgettable shape of this fan-favorite vessel still cuts a foreboding silhouette for would-be bounties even in micro-size. Well... to play devil's argument, people who spent a lot to get them. Let's face it, Lego has based a large amount of its goodwill (i.e., inherent value of a longstanding company) in the idea that it's products are 'worth it' to adults in part because they appreciate in value. If Lego decides to undercut all the collectors who've invested, they will destroy that part of their goodwill. They will 'only' be a toy company for children. That said, I would only recommend this if you want the Mandalorian-era Boba Fett and don’t already have it – the microfighter is decent but definitely not a must-get.

The Completed Model

Give kids a cool introduction to LEGO Star Wars building toys with Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter (75344) set for kids aged 6+ years old. Young fans join forces with the legendary bounty hunter and begin an epic adventure! Then, the rumors began that Boba Fett would be joining the Microfighter series. And on January 1, 2023, the new set officially dropped. Minifigures [4]– Great minifigure included at this affordable price point, especially considering microfighters used to only have generic troops.

Surprisingly well-executed Microfighter. From the reveals, I was ready to leave this set off my to-buy list for the start of 2023, but now I think it will be nice to get another one. It will go nicely with the Slave I from 2021 that I got that Christmas. I hope that they'll recolor the design for a Jango Fett's Slave I next year. They've done something like that for Y-wing and X-wing Microfighters. Speaking of hotness, study after study shows that women are most attracted to dad bods. This is undoubtedly because it connotes financial and emotional stability. I look in the mirror and fight the good fight everyday.LEGO Star Wars 75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter is available to buy from LEGO.com, in LEGO Stores and through third-party retailers. It’s cheap enough that you won’t really need to wait for a discount, though. From this angle you can see some of the details – I like the jumbled use of light grey, sand green, and dark green, which gives the model a weathered look even at this small scale.
