About this deal

There's some amount of nudity in the early part of the story, and (sigh) a sequence where Tsukasa is sexually assaulted, requiring Anzai's heroic intervention. Most of the art focuses on the characters' faces, and on the whole I feel this manga treats Tsukasa respectfully. One might wish for her to grow a spine, to be more like a PNR heroine, especially since this hits a lot of the same notes as a PNR does: secret vampire hunting force, a protagonist who walks the line between human and supernatural, a heroine who is the only person who stirs the hero's heart, and so on. It’s true that there’s still a decent amount of material to be adapted. However, Devils’ Line: Season 2 has not been approved yet. There are no confirmed reasons why, but the leading speculation is that it simply didn’t get that much attention. This unique mix-up of Twilight and Hellsing sadly didn’t reach as many people as the producers hoped. There might still be a chance though, as even if Season 2 hasn’t been confirmed, the series hasn’t been officially canceled either. We find out who the white hair man is right away. His name is Lee, and like our main character Anzai, he is a half devil as well. Lee gives the man some human blood, but unlike Lee, Anzai doesn't use blood, and so he becomes unstable and tries to lash out. This leads to Anzai not wanting to see Tsukasa anymore to keep her safe. Of course Tsukasa wants to see him and with the help of Lee she might get her wish. if it's not for the Sniper and her people putting their plan into action. The art is just cool. I really like how that random hoe who does not have a personality had different colored hair than the other hoe who does not have a personality. Their voice actresses are also not the one and same person which makes telling them apart even easier. Thanks for that. The opening on the other hand is a masterpiece... at fooling people into thinking this show might actually not be utter garbage, which it is.

If a second season were to see the light of day, it is very likely that the original cast of the anime will return, thus enriching the plot with new characters. “Devils Line” is, after all, based on a popular manga that captivated its readership with a complex plot and deeply developed characters. The story focuses mainly on the turbulent relationship between Tsukasa and a demon/human hybrid by the name of Yuuki Anzai. Their love story, strewn with challenges and twists, is the red thread of the series. The first season, which ended on a dramatic note with Tsukasa saving Anzai’s life by giving him some of his blood, sparked feverish anticipation among fans for what would happen next.

Devils’ Line: Season 1 is currently available on Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, and Netflix, depending on your region. So, if Season 2 ever comes, these streaming platforms are the most likely candidates to show it as well. Tsukasa is willing to risk everything to rescue Anzai. Anzai learns about his past as he recovers from his injuries. Operations within the police force get shaken up as Lieutenant Ishimaru becomes the new leader of F Squad.

So, as it turns out, when it comes to book boyfriends (gah I hate that term, but can’t think of a better one), I’ve got a type. Along with this personal quest, Tsukasa and Anzai’s relationship may continue to grow and flourish. Memorable moments may lie ahead, such as Tsukasa meeting Anzai’s parents. This moment could be Tsukasa’s opportunity to understand Anzai better and get even closer to him. They might even discuss their future together and possible marriage, adding a touch of romance to the already rich plot. The guy who books him is a half-vampire, half-human hybrid named Anzai, who works as a sort of police officer among his kind, hauling in the bad guys who prey on humans and disrupt their way of life. We get to see several of the cases that he's working on before he's put on leave for beating up a teacher who assaults Tsukasa right before Anzai is supposed to meet her for hot pot. If the long-awaited announcement of a second season of Devils Line sees the light of day, we might expect a deeper dive into Anzai’s fascinating history. This season could mainly focus on Anzai’s quest to discover the true origin of his birth and the mysterious Hybrid Plan. This initiatory journey would lead him to Obihiro, a city that may well hold the secrets of his past.
