Hyte made a bold move by including a PCIe 4.0 riser cable and encouraging vertical GPU mounting. Because often vertically mounting your GPU can have a negative effect on thermals. On a more practical note, I would take advantage of the radiator space up top and install something like an Alphacool Eisbaer Pro Aurora 360, along with some bright RGB spinners like the Corsair QL120 for some added bling. Bottom Line Hyte was more generous on the GPU side in terms of clearance. This case fits cards up to 14.76 inches (375mm), which means your Asus ROG Strix RTX 3090 or PowerColor Red Devil RX 6900XT should fit here without issue. The featured fans are Flow FE12 fans, that can operate at speeds of 1300RPM whilst at whisper-quiet noise levels. Thanks to their fluid dynamic bearing, these fans are highly durable with a long lifespan. Two are mounted on the bottom panel and the third is on the rear.

This case is beyond what I was expecting. Finally got away from the over crowded 011D scene. The Y60 is such a great case for the value. I modified this case a bit. I removed the rear fan grill and put in a EKWB FLT120 Pump/Res. Fits perfect. I also swapped the lower 120's for two Noctua 140s.

Overview

There's side, top, and bottom dust filters that will be plenty sufficient. There's USB ports and the power button in an area that fits in well with the cornered window theme. My only comment on all of that, is that if they just made the case ever so slightly bigger, without still having to be a massively heavy full size tower, it would have allowed for a lot more options. Unlike most modern PC cases, the Hyte Y60 is designed with vertically mounted graphics cards in mind. This design decision limits the size of most of this case’s PCIe slots, giving the Y60 a single full high PCIe mounting location (3-slots vertical), and six half-height PCIe slots. Lower chamber with two fan slots is amazing, blowing air across the card is a plus for rear mounted memory. The Hyte Y60 is a very quiet case. That can be attributed to the location of the bottom fans, since they’re shoved in the case’s basement, and likely also the glass panels dampening internal noise. I measured the rear exhaust fan using our laser tachometer and it read 1,444 RPM, which is fairly close to the rated 1,500 RPM. Thermal Results for the Hyte Y60

Based on product pictures, this case was designed more in mind of full-system liquid cooling setups, I hope to eventually have a build like that to put it to use in that way. I do see this as a case I will keep for multiple future builds to come.More fan mounting options could have been installed in the bottom of the case, instead of just the two. Provided screws for the fans going in to the lower chamber are too think of a diameter to my Noctua 140s. Had to find thinner but same threaded screws at HDepot
