According to UNAIDS and the World Health Organization, the global AIDS epidemic continues to grow and the number of deaths due to AIDS is increasing in most continents [ 8]. Every year, 14 million adolescents give birth, which in developing countries translates to one in three women under 20 years of age [ 9]. Owing to the health consequences, adolescent sexual behavior is certainly a growing concern.

Those who identify as lesbian are usually women who feel sexual and romantic attraction toward other women.

What About Solo Sex?

God is love. He is the Blessed Trinity, a Communion of three Divine Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—continuously giving and receiving love, one to the other. God calls all people to communion with Him and with each other through the Church, the Body of Christ. We live out this call to communion in various ways whether as clergy, consecrated religious, married persons, or in the single state—in families, friendships, in the parish, in a religious community, with colleagues at work, among fellow citizens, and indeed with the global community.
