About this deal

The main reason parents decide against disposables and opt for reusable nappies is the environmental impact. Around eight million nappies are thrown into landfill waste each day in the UK, and may take hundreds of years to decompose. On average, switching from disposable to reusable cuts carbon emissions from nappy use by a quarter.

Both brands promise up to 12 hours of dryness meaning your baby’s bum and nappy should be nice and dry after a full night. We usually use Aldi’s Mamia and have never ever had a wee leak with them. We use them overnight for 12 hours and have never had a problem. Mamia nappies live up to their promise and really do offer 12 hours of dryness. The nappy feels dry and my daughter’s bum is dry and rash free after 12 hours in a Mamia nappy. Alice: This nappy is very easy to use and I have experienced no leaks which is brilliant-less worry and less washing! They last well overnight which is important for the best possible night’s sleep for everyone.Lidl also sells a premium range which the discount supermarket claims offers advanced comfort, fit and flexibility. These nappies come in sizes one to five. With having a newborn breast fed baby I can go through about 10 nappies a day. Due to the great quality of the nappy I don't need to change this as often. I have no leaking , the absorbency is great especially next to other brands which leaked. Another great thing is this product is relatively inexpsive so makes the affordability of these nappies perfect for me and my baby. I like the comfort and protection these nappies gave my little boy. Each nappy provided me with the assurance of leak-free nights and a better sleep for baby. The price is also very competitive, compared to other supermarket brands, and much cheaper than Pampers. I hope this product wins because it exceeds all expectations in comfort, protection and price.

I would certainly recommend the Aldi Mamia nappies to my friends and fellow mums as they are so affordable and excellent quality. They are designed well and have exceeded my expectations of a good quality nappy. They are easy to use and very absorbent for those longer periods of time during the night and my little one never seemed uncomfortable. Katie: Yes, I already have. I find these nappies a lot softer than other nappies we have used. There were less leakages which means they are more cost effective and comfortable for my baby. The Mamia nappy range makes my life so much easier as a mum because I can have piece of mind that my children are wearing a nappy that contains all of their business. It also means I'm not being woken in the night by an upset little one whose nappy has leaked and therefore reducing my washing load which is a life saver. Aldi says its nappies have an ultra-dry air system with a fast-absorbing core to keep your baby dry for up to 12 hours. The nappies don’t contain any perfume, lotion or latex and are designed to be soft and breathable with a slim design for free movement. Aldi's nappies are available in sizes one to six, and there are also plus sizes for extra absorbency. Lidl Lupilu Nappies The sizing is a little off, I would say these nappies were a bit too big for my little one, but that is a minor issue. Tested by mum Natalie Betts for the M&B Awards 2017:Alice: To use more compostable or biodegradable materials within the product. If the reliability of the nappy was maintained with this incorporated it would be unbeatable. Amy: This nappy performs well and is reliable which makes life easier when having a baby. It contains even the messiest of nappies meaning no extra clothes are needed. Extra washing is the last thing I need. It looks good and is easy to get on when my child isn’t rolling around like a crocodile. I did find it moved about a lot in comparison to my usual brand but my little one doesn’t like to keep still so that could be the reason. What an amazing product. The nappies where as good if not better than the leading brand. They absorb better than Pampers, Morrisons and Asda’s own and never ever leak. My little boy does large wees and these nappies had no problems in keeping the wee inside. Excellent value for money. Comfy and a really good fit. I have tried every nappy on the market on children in the nursery where I work and have always found these to be great.

The award-winning Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ Nappies provide your baby up to 12 hours day & night protection. These feature Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ technology which provides fast absorption, distributes liquid evenly and helps prevent sagging. They are soft & breathable for your baby's soft skin. A slim design allows free movement, and the resealable fasteners and super stretchy sides ensure a snug and secure fit. Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ Nappies are dermatologically accredited by the Skin Health Alliance for added peace of mind. They contain 0%* perfume and are lotion free* and latex** free. Ellie: The nappy performs as a nappy should do, it is easy to put on and take off and the nappy tabs are easily accessible. There was no stretching of the sides which meant it fitted my baby well and the nappy feels soft which is good when you know this will be used on delicate skin. Would you recommend this to other parents? You can resell them or keep them if you’re planning to have more children in the future. And you can buy second-hand. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and some also come with a disposable or a washable liner which you use to collect your baby’s poo. Read more about choosing reusable nappies. Sarah: I would unfortunately not choose this nappy above the other on the market as although they are more inexpensive I do feel as though the quality of the material reflects this and they did feel a bit more flimsy when they were fitted onto baby. I think due to this they did tend to leak when they had been used overnight or for long periods of time whereas other brands which fit better do not.The other day I spotted Pampers Baby-Dry nappies in size 4 in Wilkinsons and they were reduced to half price making them pretty much the same price per nappy as Mamia. I thought this was a good time to see what the Pampers nappies were like in a bigger size. In this post I will compare these two nappy brands in this size and let you know which one delivers… The Mamia nappy brand does everything you need it to do and more. When having a young baby, you go through lots of nappies, so the last thing you need to be worrying about is how much they cost. Aldi Mamia nappies are so much cheaper than most of the others you can buy from other supermarkets. But not only are they cheap, they are good quality, fit baby well and we have had virtually no leaks. They are just as good as the expensive brands, if not better and that is brilliant!
