About this deal

lowly goblin! Not about to let that stop him, the now renamed Rou uses his new physical prowess and his old memories to plow ahead in a world where consuming other creatures allows him to acquire their powers. Soon after that, MC had an ability to gain skills and stats just by eating "anything". Yes "anything". But after that, they can evolved into more higher rank, just like games. Welp, this is my first review. Honestly, this manga is interesting. We start off with the main character. A psychic with a rare ability, rare even among psychic abilities. This power allows him to eat anything, and gain abilities from the things he eats. As a result, in his life, he had eaten even other people, if they were evil; this was to gain their abilities.

Finally a manga that breaks out of the mainstream "human" hero/antihero genre, and lets us focus on a monster as main protagonist. is the same in this case, with very unattractive introduction. That's why the story doesn't deserve higher score. Although he does not possess any of the abilites he had gained in his previous life, he does still have one. His psychic ability to gain abilities from eating. Also, due to his previous life as a human, he retains his knowledge and intelligence. This makes him smarter than most of his race, since common goblins tend to be stupid, but strong. It has mature elementes with killing and suggestive themes. So it is a shounen manga tipping over to seinen. If you want to get the updates about latest chapters, lets create an account and add Re:Monster to your bookmark. Personally, I cannot stand the slice of life since I find it boring as it tells you mundane daily experiences of the protagonist. Unless we’re talking about well written comedy, e.g. Grand Blue, Danshi Koukousei, I’d usually say no to most slice of life. Nothing suspenseful happens. 50 chapters in and the overarching narrative beyond his (and his clan's) personal progression is all but nonexistent. ever review since I wanted to explain my sadness at a possible amazing story with interesting ideas, especially since you don't often see ones from the monsters perspective, but after a short while its just a cycle of:

The MC is special in the way that he is able to absorb enemies abilities and make them he's own. I've always hated this kind of power creep, as they essentially become way too strong without any effort. It would have been much more interesting if the MC had used he's own intelligence to overcome problems, and see how the world would have reacted to an intelligent goblin, and instead we got a generic and bland story. Aside of character, Rou, which is MC, is quite OP character, likeable. As well as the side character, Kichi and E. Further Though he starts as weak as any other; He becomes a leader of great strength. Stronger than most will ever become, regardless of race.Just a wish fulfillment fantasy that has one of the most OP MC's. There is no tension, you always know he will do everything right and perfect. After his death, he had awoken in a new world as a goblin; one of the weakest races. He learned this much from the elder of the goblins. Though he began life as a baby, within a day, and many naps, he'd gradually grown through the stages of life up to young adulthood. After his unfortunate death, Tomokui Kanata has been reincarnated as a member of the weakest race, a goblin named Rou. However, Rou has retained his previous life’s memories, as well as an ability that allows him to gain strength and abilities from eating. He also possesses a unique evolutionary tree.

Re:Monster is not a very ambitious kind of manga, being quite generic with almost everything, however it is fun and easy to read - i can recommend it to anyone who is interested in manga with mmorpg fantasy setting. Ok, lets break the whole thing down. it frakked with your mind a bit, since there really wasnt much to go off of. and didnt expand on what it started with. it seemed that it started at an end of a story, and imediately went too a similar storyline. Now, Rou has made a promise to himself that he would live this life to the fullest. In this alternate world of survival of the fittest, events unfold with competent subordinates and comrades. Re Monster The art was certainly different but kind of plain and boring, didn't enjoy it. Though the human girls, the elvish girls did look cute. Action scenes were a pain to follow and the facial expressions were almost non-existent beyond angry and horny. a human reincarnated as a goblin. He has to learn the harsh life of being a monster and evolving to bigger hights as he gains that valuable exp.

Re:Monster is a Japanese web novel written by Kanekiru Kogitsune and published by Alphapolis. It was later adapted into a light novel, inspiration for the manga. Kanata Tomokui was a powerful human, in his first life that is. Now that he has died, he finds himself reincarnated into the body of a newborn goblin named Rou. The only things left from his previous life are his memories and the ability to eat anything. By doing so Rou absorbs the special abilities of his food. Will this ability be enough to allow him to live in this new world where survival is king? Re:Monster Manga Re: Monster appeals to the rpg gamer genre. The concept of the manga has been seen in several other series: the protagonist dies in another life and reincarnated in another. The story dives into the daily events of his new life Goblin Slayer, Tenshi Slime (read more then you know why), and Re:Monsters. (The Killer, The God, and The Leader)

with that said, there really is not a storyline, but it is very interesting as to how they progress. a b c "Kogitsune Kanekiru's Re:Monster Isekai Light Novels Get TV Anime". Anime News Network. September 19, 2023 . Retrieved September 19, 2023. Oh, there's also a harem. Did I mention the harem of girls who love the protagonist only because he's the leader? Did i read three volumes in this novel I'd say this one is really good. It takes on a new way of narrating (which might not please everyone) that gives insight into the story as if you're actually reading the MC, Rou's diary. Due to that, it's quite repetitive at times, but that makes more sense than that something new and unique would happen each and every day! I mean, most novel include long time skips, because of that limit, but since this novel is meant to resemble a diary, there'll always be an entry, even if it's sometimes really short, or really ordinary.Main majority is too many character to explain with, but of course thats normal for a whole lead of Goblin army. And also since its a Mature manga, there`s no problem with violence, gore and probably might be a lot of hentai (i mean not really visual, but there`s a LOT in just 28 chapters.)
