About this deal

How do you think the girls on the show would feel if they heard the boys' discussions? Do you think this is the way real teens think about sex? Parents, talk to your teens about your own values regarding sex and relationships.

Oh, and while I'm ranting, at a recent school assembly (I haven't been for a while) my DD seemed to be about the only girl in her year still in knee-length skirt, polo shirt and school sweatshirt (their uniform) - the others had moved over to the high-school look of mid-thigh skirt (OK not quite the bum-skirt of the local high school, but on the way to it), fat ties and tight jumpers. I know they're all growing up, but am I really the only parent of this school year who thinks this "uniform" is inappropriate? In December 2014, parallel with the release of the film's sequel, a special edition with both films was released on DVD. Simon is described as the most normal of the group [17] who leaves "fans feeling sorry for him over and over again". [18] Jones, Wil (2 January 2019). "Last's Nights Inbeweeners Reunion Show P*ssed of a lot of fans". Joe.Simon Cooper ( Joe Thomas) is the most cynical and hot-headed of the group, being prone to bouts of hysterical swearing at the slightest provocation; his on-off relationship with Carli propels many of the plots. At the beginning of August 2013, creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley confirmed that a second Inbetweeners film would be made with a planned release date of 6 August 2014 in the UK and Ireland; they released a statement saying "We couldn't be more excited to be making another Inbetweeners movie. A new chapter in the lives of the Inbetweeners feels like the very least we can do to thank the fans for their phenomenal response to the first movie." This sequel is set in Australia. Kevin Sutherland ( Alex Macqueen; series 1–2, guest series 3) is Neil's dad. He is divorced and is often portrayed as a closeted gay man, which he denies. The boys frequently make fun of Neil because of this. O'Grady, Sean (2 January 2019). "The Inbetweeners: Fwends Reunited review – School reunion is full of nostalgia, and poo jokes". The Independent. Archived from the original on 18 June 2022. There's a very sharp writerly hand on the wheel of THE INBETWEENERS, which elevates the humor from dumb raunch to truly inspired filthiness in the same way the original British series did. But there's plenty here to trouble parents, who would probably prefer to watch the show themselves for a laugh, rather than have teens tune in. One gag will illustrate this concept: Will shows up to skip school with his friends and lies to one of their mothers that the van parked down the street is his. "I know it's a little molestery," he says, "but I got a great deal, from a molester. But he didn't molest in it, he just used it to um, transport for molesting." A few minutes later, the boys pass the van as a shirtless man leans out and offers them a ride. "Maybe later," says Simon. "You got cool muscles." A few minutes later, Will refers to having "dodged a rape." Big John (John Seaward) is a fellow student. John is one of the new kids who start school on the same day as Will. He is often referred to as one of the freaks and is often seen as an overweight social outcast whom the boys try to avoid. Nevertheless, during season 1, he comes to the defence of Will, tries to boost Jay's confidence and speaks to him about the frustration of wanting to be noticed.

Score:5/5. Hilarious , real and brilliant show. Any 14 year old says and hears worse than this at school.

A decade ago, its depictions of underage drinking, thwarted sexual urges, bad house parties, bravado, unrequited love and public embarrassments offered an unusually accurate picture of male teenage life. It succeeded in capturing those raging anxieties: from the fear of an in-school poo, to the wrath of bullies and the humiliation of rejection. It presented a world where A-levels, scoring alcohol and putting your hand down someone else’s trousers – or your own – were primary life goals.a b Nissim, Mayer (24 March 2009). Taking the tired format of a lads’ holiday, The Inbetweeners Movie (2011), sees the foursome decamp to Malia for a sort of millennial update on Kevin & Perry Go Large. Cue: slow-mo drinking scenes, cliched storylines, repetitive dialogue, the bantz meter cranked to full and the gang bumping into their old sixth-form head teacher being a party animal. By the time The Inbetweeners 2 (2014) found the group in Australia, the well was truly dry and any semblance of charm had vanished.
