About this deal

The competition closes on the 20th September 2019, and Booktrust are entirely in charge of choosing the winner and sending them the prize – I have nothing to do with this competition, so I won’t be able to help anyone win (sorry!). I love this character-Inspector Priestly!!!!! He is so intelligent, smart and good looking😁 He is super supportive for Hazel and Daisy! And always protect them! Daisy and Hazel love him!❤️ I loved seeing the other girls again and see how they changed. And I love that they finally dare to stand up for themselves. Not just with helping out with the detective society, but also with other things. They aren't afraid any more to open their mouths and let Daisy know what they think about her bossing people around and not giving them a chance.

When Hazel Wong's beloved grandfather passes away, Daisy Wells is all too happy to accompany her friend (and Detective Society Vice-President) to Hazel's family estate in beautiful, bustling Hong Kong.Plans for a weekend of celebrations are in full swing. But all is not well, for in the detectives’ long absence, Deepdean has changed. Daisy has lost her crown to a fascinating new girl – and many of the Detective Society’s old allies are now their sworn enemies. Plus, I loved seeing the parents and seeing them interact. And even more fun... a lot of parents were from Deepdean or the nearby boy's school.

Third of the fact that a simple poem mentioned in the beginning of the book so slyly no one noticed could give Daisy and Hazel the answer is amazing! Determined to get to the bottom of the crime before the killer strikes again Hazel and Daisy must hunt for evidence, spy on their suspects and use all the cunning and intuition they can muster. But will they succeed? And can their friendship stand the test? Daisy and Hazel think baby Teddy is enough to deal with, but as always the girls are never far from a mystery. And when someone very close to Daisy looks suspicious, the Detective Society must do everything they can to reveal the truth . . . no matter the consequences. Carries the Murder Most Unladylike mysteries into new heights . . . meticulously plotted and consistently delightful, and I can't recommend it enough' New StatesmanShe spent her teenage years at Cheltenham Ladies’ College, reading a lot of murder mysteries and hoping that she’d get the chance to do some detecting herself (she didn’t). She then went to university, where she studied crime fiction, and then worked at a children's publisher. A delight . . . The Agatha Christie-style clues are unravelled with sustained tension and the whole thing is a hoot from start to finish' Daily Mail A feelgood blend of Malory Towers and Cluedo . . . Stevens has upped her game in this new volume' Telegraph Robin was born in California and grew up in an Oxford college, across the road from the house where Alice in Wonderland lived. She has been making up stories all her life. A skilful blend of golden era crime novel and boarding school romp . . . Top class' Financial Times

May Wong has returned with her new friends Eric and Nuala as the heroes of my newest series the Ministry of Unladylike Activity! Ministry is also out in German, and it will publish in Italian and Polish in 2024. And its sequel, The Body in the Blitz, is out now in the UK and Ireland!
