About this deal

The Slingfire would have been number one on this list if it hadn’t recently been discontinued. BUT there is still a decent supply of them floating around online, so I’ll leave it on this list while they are still widely available. The Slingfire comes with a 6-round magazine and six green Nerf elite darts but can be upgraded using any N-Strike Elite magazine—including a 25-round drum! Booyah! Three big names dominate the lever-gun market, each with slight differences and a variety of options – Versions of some of their earliest guns, albeit with updates to design and function, are still available from Winchester today.

A sad reality in the Nerf gun world is that many of the best blasters are not actually Nerf products. Instead, they are community or hobbyist projects that eventually sell commercially. Even the most powerful Nerf guns in the world are not Nerf-brand products! The Zombie Strike Scravenger has a toggle on the side of the blaster that enables and disables slam fire. Slam-fire is a rapid-fire feature that allows you to hold down the trigger and fire a round every time the gun is primed. It’s a fun way to throw a ton of foam around your next nerf game. The model 1873 was dubbed “The Gun That Won the West” due partly to its use of the new .44-40 Winchester Center Fire round. Legendary Model 1873

As for the performance, the Nerf Slingfire is advertised to reach 75 feet, but during testing, it falls short of that number and hits an average of 65 feet. It averages about 70 FPS, which is in the upper range of dart-type nerf guns. This blaster flings darts at an average of 75 FPS, which is an average speed compared to other nerf guns and makes it an excellent option for younger children and adults alike! As the proud owner of an inherited near mint condition 1952 production Winchester Model 1894, it's the star of my modest collection.

The Best Western Airguns

Let’s start with the coolest features that set it apart from other nerf guns: slam-fire action, naked-gun mode, and a removable two-shot sidearm. Started by legendary gun makers Horace Smith and Daniel Wesson (yes, of Smith & Wesson fame), their first version of the company was Volcanic Repeating Arms. It uses an eight-dart non-removable rolling drum and comes with eight orange Nerf Elite darts. Loading this blaster is on the slower side as you must load from the left side and manually spin the drum for each dart. This spring-powered war machine can hold up to 32 nerf elite darts in its two massive drums and uses Nerf’s “flip shot” technology. Ot could be argued that the Lever Action Rifles and Carbines were the Assault Rifles of the era. Fast Follow Up shots, a variety of calibers, and high capacity tubular magazines (for their time) compared to any Civilian or Military Firearm contemporary to the time. Lever Actions "scream" Wild West, even when furnitured with more modern polymers. They recall episodes of the Rifleman, John Wayne, and the countless "B" Westerns Hollywood churned out in the 30s and 40s. No other Rifle has that distinct "Americana" look, that even folks unfamiliar with guns recognize.

It has a single tactical rail on top that is compatible with any N-Strike accessories and a very clean feeling action on the lever. If you want a lever action blaster with a large ammo capacity that will spray lines of foam in your future nerf battles, look no further than the Nerf Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-32. That’s a mouthful. The “Volcanic” lever-action rifle was an improved design over the Volition Repeating Rifle of 1848. Volition Repeating Rifle Some of these rifles on the list are much harder to find on the market as some of these are no longer being produced in mass quantities. With that said, either myself or my colleagues have been fortunate enough to have shot all of the models mentioned. Aside from having hands-on experience with these guns, many of them are obvious choices due to them being well loved classics. Why Lever-Actions Rifles? For others, these guns serve as a practical solution. Hunters find that lever-action rifles are an excellent choice for different landscapes and game types where speed matters.Still looking for the right air weapon that perfectly blends performance, aesthetics and affordability? Got an interest in the Wild West? Our Wild West airguns might just be the perfect solution. The Best Western Airguns This unique-looking blaster has a sawed-off shotgun and zombie theme, and the finer details of its design really sell that experience. Among our fantastic selection of replicas and Wild West-themed air guns, you’re sure to find something to suit your requirements and shooting style, making the perfect addition to your gun cabinet. The Flipshot also has a two-stage trigger. A half-pull shoots a single shot, and a full-pull will shoot the second dart. So you can choose to shoot one dart at a time or both! The first thing you’ll notice when you take the Winchester 1887 out of the box is that it is hefty. This isn’t a cheap plastic toy that will break within a week and is made of solid aluminum and hard ABS plastic.
