This has so many notes I love, and being able to actually identify them - AND have them come together to create such a beautiful scent is SUCH a treat! <3 With Hugo Boss Private Acord - I mix it to revive the very linear scent, and to play with the chocolate notes. The rose works very well with them, the 'trail' becomes a really good complement to the dark chocolate. Noticeable, people cannot tell what you're wearing but are fascinated. on me, this scent isn't very young, it's definitely a bit more mature and grounded, like a beautiful, feminine, elegant woman. fruity floral except the only floral i get assertively is the rose, which i think is what makes this fragrance more "mature". i think the florals blend really nicely. i love how this fragrance is able to make me smell like a goddess without the conservative little grandma factor. Boy was I wrong! I received sooooo many compliments with this perfume! Sooo many people asked what I’m wearing! They always say I smell so good all day! Thank to 2 spritz of this perfume; yes only 2 spritz!!!

To avoid the 'trail' and expose this perfume for the masterpiece that it is, I sometimes couple it with other perfumes, just for the fun of it. My favorite combinations are: I really wanted to love this because the bottle is so pretty! After hearing so much about this one I thought I'd love it because I'm a huge fruity scent fan. The scent is strong that someone from 6 feet apart can smell it, yet it’s soft enough to not be overwhelming.

The opening is all about fruits, mostly pear and nectarine. Really close to what my home smells like at the end of summer, after having a fruit salad. Fresh and uplifting. Mmmm love this opening! I put a lot on, but only seem to really smell this within 4" of my skin, and very subtly outside of that range by maybe arms length. On me, it's not very strong at all. I also don't know how to describe it, but instead of all the scents being blended together, it seems like they all sit separately, like I smell the raspberry, separate from the pepper, separate from rose, separate from the cedar, etc. It's not melded together like raspberry-y rosy peppery sweetness all melted together as one or something. I had a similar thing with La Nuit, where it felt like the sweetness of it was sitting very separately from the smokiness of it, like they're sitting on different sides of a room, instead of blended together. The pink pepper, the musk and the wood in Trésor Midnight Rose does soften and cut through the sweetness somewhat thankfully, but I honestly think more musk in the base and less raspberry and vanilla would have made this fragrance so much better. I also am not a fan of the cassis note, since it gives a slight smell of cat urine in it.

This scent's sillage had a strong 6 foot radius and it lasted a good 10 hours on my skin, so you do get very good value for this fragrance and it is a fairly cheap price. The pink and purple bottle with the little purple ribbon with a purple silk ribbon is beautiful too. With Elie Saab Le Parfum - perfect wedding day scent, absolutely beautiful. Freesia and honey + rose oil and raspberry, with a hint of hot, wet violet. Absolutely stunning.

I choose to wear it when I want to be slightly scented, just for myself. It's a ''for me, by me'' fragrance. Or when I'm about to go for a walk on autumn sunset. Best combo with a below-the-knee vintage skirt. It's an autumn perfume for me, somewhat kind, somewhat nostalgic, strongly romantic. Having said that I expect it to have more of a character. Seeing the notes here on fragrantica I was super happy and expect it to smell like one of my mom's perfumes from the 90s. Like a prominent raspberry and fresh rose.. But instead it smells to me very mannered and well blended (which is not a negative point per se) where nor the raspberry nor the rose particularly stand out to me. They act together to create the jam sweet rosey feel albeit at times it feels artificial especially in the opening. I tried the fragrance and couldn't seem to "remember" the scent after it faded; it felt so non-descript. I did realize that if I couldn't find anything better to wear and something gently sweet, softly floral and "easy" sounded fitting of my mood I could reach for Tresor In Love and it would suffice.
