When used in ‘Eco’ mode, the Pro can run for an average of up to 40 minutes when used for above the floor cleaning; when used in ‘Max’ mode (recommended for tougher challenges), the average runtime is up to 20 minutes. Sturdier design – straight out of the box, you can feel that the design is much more thought of in this model, and the whole vacuum feels much better as a whole. Larger powered brush head – this ensures you can vacuum your entire home much faster as you’ll cover more area with every sweep. The brush bar can be easily taken off to properly clean it from tangled hair. The bags are made up of three breathable layers which filter different grades of dust and debris, meaning the airflow can compress dirt more efficiently for maximum capability and durability. Each bag essentially acts as a filter, and with pleats increasing the capacity, you can go longer without changing them. You get a fresh clean every time you use a new bag.

It seems that some people with pets have had some problems with the suction power and the bag capacity. The bright LED lights across the main head were our favourite feature overall though. They really made a difference when cleaning by illuminating dirt and dust that we’d otherwise easily miss under our sofas and beds. The pro 2 isn’t the lightest cordless model around but unless you have particular wrist or shoulder problems, you won’t struggle with it. At 2.8kg in its upright state, we found it easy to manoeuvre even on our carpeted stairs or when reaching under furniture. It was certainly considerably lighter than dragging a corded machine around. We also really liked the bright four-stage LED indicator which clearly displays the battery life and was useful when we wanted to vacuum certain areas before the charge ran out. Features Overall, the GTech Pro 2 features plenty of improvements over the first model and provides a much better vacuuming experience. This is all thanks to the superior design and build quality, as well as the various attachments that turn this vacuum into a multi-purpose cleaning tool. Some homes with rigorous cleaning routines and 4 inhabitants (and pets!) filled their bag in around 3 weeks; others used the same bag for a couple of months. We chose a wide range of household styles and cleaning routines to replicate those of real-life customers. Like all batteries, Gtech sweeper batteries don't last forever and after many hours of constant use they can begin to lose their run time. The first thing to establish is that the battery is charging correctly and that it is fully charged before you use your sweeper.As this is a new product, tests are still ongoing - results will be updated as we discover more. To ensure you get the most out of each, the airflow continually pushes dirt into the bag as you vacuum. And as they avoid tearing during disposal, your home stays dust-free. You'll get the same cleaning performance as a bagless vacuum, but with extra efficiency due to not having a cyclone bin which requires additional power.
