About this deal

Camphoric, dark, medicinal, oily, band-aids, dentist office, barnyards, and more. Everything mentioned could be easily said as an accurate but vague description. In a world where everyone wears and likes classic "blue" fragrances, which for me smell like any sports shampoo, I feel like a stubborn provocateur when it comes to perfume. After years of trying to follow the mainstream and I like these popular perfumes ala Sauvage, Armani Code and all my colleagues who have been representing the TOP20 in all drugstores for years and have been contributing to a uniform general smell in discos and clubs for years, I have to say that I don't like them and I simply can't wear them We cannot really know which fragrance was the first one in production, and on which one Alberto Morillas started to work first. Fast and powerful, the poppy on the cornfield shoots towards the sun. You neither bought me, nor impressed me, yet you gave rich without demanding. All the money in this world cannot outweigh what you selflessly gave. You reached out your hand to me and left traces in me. Strong petrol and whisky accord for me the first 15 minutes, which changes into a leathery wood scent and in the next hours loses the leather and is replaced by subtle herbs.

The same opinion I have with for example Penhaligon’s Vaara which is purely a woman’s perfume, no matter what Penhaligon’s marketing team would like you to believe. A note from the brand: “Created using a particular blend with a structure that remains unchanged from the first time it is applied to the skin. Leather accord and goldenwood are custom-mixed with natural extract of the Nootka Cypress, selected especially for Gucci Guilty Absolute. The resulting scent features ultra-dry woody notes. The fragrance’s composition is intensified with three forms of patchouli oils and earthy vetiver.” Notes and Classification This product comes as of collaboration between the creative director of the Gucci house Alessandro Michele and perfumer Alberto Morillas. But considering my constitution, I shit on conventions and feel, taste and smell what my heart desires.

For me, someone who has already experienced challenging fragrances such as Dior’s Fahrenheit, and Narciso Rodriguez For Him should probably be in the safe zone, but for the rest, do everything you can to sample it first. I knew nothing about this formulation, going into the wear, and really wasn’t expecting something like this to come out of a Gucci Guilty fragrance. But, I like it. The scent lasts length, yet all the while I was looking for a scent after I was just as addicted, a scent that would stay just as consistently dirty to me, a scent with maybe more depth and something more complex and even more lasting or more sillage. In the end, Absolute is a dark, mysterious, and bold fragrance that would be more suited as a niche fragrance rather than a designer release which ultimately ended in discontinuation. Opulent woody scents like this one never go out of style. In addition to woods, they often contain resins, mosses, grasses or leaves. They are dry and crisp, but also very warm and rich. This fragrance's head is dominated by a single note of leather. This makes way for heart notes of cypress and patchouli. As these waft away, they expose the base of vetiver and woodsy notes. (Vetiver, sometimes called khus, is a grass similar to citronella and native to India.) Gucci Fragrances: Pricing

After the successful collaboration, Alberto Morillas has been appointed as the main perfumer of Gucci’s high-end niche line “ The Alchemist’s Garden“. Upon the first spray, do not go to the bathroom and immediately wash off the fragrance. This is art, and this is how the fragrance industry goes forward in a new direction.Undoubtedly, Absolute is more suited for mature audiences and geared toward men. Personally, I don’t see how a lady would pull this one off. Maybe with more confident personalities, it could work, but that’s up to you to test it out. Like TF TO, for me it is a fragrance to wear with a suit, a shirt, or more elegant outfits. You may stone me, but it works fantastically. This image of a man, tall, masculine, elegantly dressed, who enters a room and there is a silence of titles, an admiration and awe in the air, that's what a fragrance is. One is provocatively different, but in a not banal white, but well thought-out and elegant It works best in the cooler temperatures, but within that it can be worn in a variety of occasions. Autumn and winter are a haven for this fragrance. Within those confines, you should still be able to get good use from it. The antiseptic, and band-aid-like scent profile is here as well but is better experienced when smelled rather than reading or hearing about it.

I can not really perceive the patchouli, all other fragrance notes, I can also say nothing to, but I think the main role here plays the Woodleather. The fragrance runs totally linear. When I spray the scent on my hand in the evening, I can still detect the Woodleather in the morning. However, the scent decreases, it is noticeable but faint. Mainly in the morning I perceive a kind of spiciness that I would describe as peppery. Who wants authentic leather, dir well served here, but should bring a portion of healthy self-confidence. That’s why all the eyes or better say, noses have been pointed to Gucci house when Absolute was released, immediately after the hype within the fragrance community started to spread like wildfire. I have another scent from the Gucci Guilty line, that I am going to post a review of in the very near future, but I wanted to get this one out first. I have been sampling, Guilty Absolute, and wanted to share my thoughts while they were still fresh in my mind. How does this flanker compare to the rest? What does it smell like? Does it perform well? Is it worth a try? For me, an absolute aphrodisiac for a man (25+) with a lot of self-confidence and a certain "aura" of an educated alpha male, a loner who has everything under control, always knows what to do and is a certain gentleman despite his animalistic appearance. With my utmost joy, I have to report that this one is basically a one-to-one scent to By Kilian’s released at a more affordable price point. The start is a bit harsh, not my favorite part, but I really enjoy the middle and latter stages. That initial leather, dirtiness of patchouli, and smoke just doesn’t much appeal to me. But, others might like it just fine.

Performance wise, this one gives you exactly what you want. It lets itself be known and will last for double digit hours. No complaints at all. I’m not sure the exact length of time, but I’ve noticed it hanging around 12 hours in. This time I dared and tested him intensively on the skin My God, it smells good. Provocative, rough, masculine, just different Your fire has resurrected my spirits from the deepest dust, colored them and revealed to me a world I could not dream of. Is it? Meh, the dirty leather and patchouli, don’t have the same level of gasoline smell, to my nose. Plus, the violet leaf is noticeably missing. So, not really.Do I like Gucci Guilty Absolute, overall? I do. It’s one that I would only be in the mood for, on occasion, but would completely love it during that time. It’s super leathery, earthy, dirty, dry, and woody. While I have seen this before, I wasn’t sure about it until I recently received a sample of By Kilian’s Dark Lord.
