About this deal

Raquel is finally brave enough to tell her story, so four months later she publishes her book called ‘Through My Window’. BUT YOSHI’S SPIRIT IS NOT DEAD. How, you may ask? Does he return as a ghost to watch her grieve by housing an entire pie on her kitchen floor? No! Before he croaked, he acted as Raquel’s quasi-agent and submitted her book to the publisher, who loved it so much it’ll probably eventually become the first movie of this franchise. She’s happy but also sad because she and Ares’ relationship is dead. Kaputskies. Never to schtup again. And get this: Raquel symbolizes things and shit by CLOSING HER WINDOW so he can never come through it. Oh man. That’s serious. Cosmopolitan (in Spanish). Spain . Retrieved 4 March 2022.

Mercifully, the semester ends and Ares digs himself out of a sperm-whale-sized funk – why so depressed? Hang on to your hats, true believers, we’ll find out soon – to return to Spain and whisk Raquel off to his family’s seaside vacation home, which is only about the size of Monaco, but twice as gorgeous. They’re about to re-consummate their relationship when everyone crashes their two-person horizontal smashfest, including his brothers and parents and Raquel’s besties Yoshi (Guillermo Lasheras), who’s still crushing hard on her in sullen silence, and Daniela (Natalia Azahara), who can never ever party hardy enough. They all participate in pool parties and yacht parties and beach parties, and in between, Raquel and Ares drop their pants and do the things gorgeous people in movies do when they’re not wearing any pants. Same for their friends and siblings, because we might get bored only watching Raquel and Ares f— over and over and over again. At the airport, Ares confesses that he had purposefully broken their Wi-Fi so that he could talk to her. And after the devastating events of Across the Sea, we can say that things aren't looking too good for the young couple, making the wait for the third Through My Window movie all the more agonising. This is a lazy script full of lines that are supposed to sound mysterious or hot but only work if the viewer is filling in the blanks with hormonal stories of love from their own lives.

Raquel goes to Ares’s place to tell him just that but isn’t allowed into the house as everyone in his family feels that she is a distraction that will stop him from attaining his goals. Ares disobeys everyone and runs to the prom where he is shunned by Yoshi for breaking Raquel’s heart so many times. During celebrations of the traditional night of San Juan, Raquel flirts with her classmate Gregory, but finally decides she doesn't want to do anything with him, as she is still very much in love with Ares. Simultaneously, Ares refuses Vera's advances, and implies during their conversation that maybe nothing happened between them after all. Apolo Hidalgo is the youngest of the three Hidalgo brothers, a sweet boy full of good intentions: A good boy. Anyone would think that he would do well in love and in life, but will it be so? What if the girls he meets on his way don’t like nice guys? What if your good intentions and good heart are not enough? Boys can get their hearts broken too, and Apolo knows that better than anyone. This wasn't your typical "fun teen romance", it wasn't "the dark forbidden teen romance"...or even a "toxic relationship" teen romance. This had two players who knew the other going in, tried to be in control and set the rules...but both in the end are irrevocably altered for the better by the other. That is what every partnership should be. Fin.”There is zero chemistry between the the leads here. In the beginning a voiceover tells us that Raquel is obsessed by the rich kid next door. We never get to see why. They never really speak, they trade insults and rude comments, and Raquel never acts obsessed or embarrassed, until she does, and the love interest (Ares!) never acts charming, nice or gentle (until he does, by going down on her, or fingering her in the same bed as his younger brother!?) She asks him to tell her a love story, so he talks about a young boy who believed his parents were happily in love until he found his mother cheating, which he told in confidence to his big brother, only for his brother to turn around and tell their father. His father tells the young boy that he, too, has cheated and that love is a weakness. and the trailer for the film literally has her following him around different places, like she’s not even subtle about it. but it was so funny, idk. she wears “disguises” aka, sunglasses with her hood up. Maitra, Abirbhab (5 February 2022). "Through My Window review – a cliché romantic movie with exhausting eroticism". Ready Steady Cut . Retrieved 6 February 2022. During Netflix's TUDUM event on June 17, a teaser for the third movie was released where Julio Peña, Clara Galle and the rest of the cast debated what the title should be, revealing it to be Through My Window: Looking At You.
