About this deal

The Nash Scope Ops 4 Sleep System’s compact transport size and light weight (12.4kg all-in) definitely steal the show. However, there’s a lot more to this sleep system than portability. If you’re a serious carp angler, you’ll without a doubt be doing nights. A bedchair is an important part of your arsenal and if you’re as keen as I am, it’ll probably get used more than your bed at home. Another great bedchair from Fox, the Duralite is Fox’s answer for the angler that wants to stay light and on the move. This is the lightest bedchair on our list coming in at only 8.6kg. Unique, ultra-lumber-support mattress system ensures a true, flat sleeping position without sagging Unique, ultra-lumber-support mattress system ensures a true, flat sleeping position without sagging.

Part of the system lays over the mesh mattress to keep it clean and separate from your body. The duvet layer is fleece lined and has large baffles to retain heat. The final layer is a removable waterproof shroud that can be combined with the other layers during the colder months for extra protection or used on its own for a light duvet during summer. Coming in at a whopping 22.5kg and measuring 75x70x42cm folded (the standard), this definitely isn’t the best option for those of you that like to stay on the move while you’re fishing. However, if you’re looking for ultimate comfort and luxury on holiday-style sessions, or waters that have easily accessible pegs, this is a fantastic bedchair. This isn’t a full sleep system however fitted sleeping bags from Fox are available in both three and five-season options. You’ll find these for sale separately but you’ll also occasionally find the bedchair and a sleeping bag as part of a discounted bundle. Yes. You can use a bedchair year-round providing that it’s part of a four-season sleep system or you have a four-season sleeping bag for the bed. The Solar sleeping bag is also only a 4 season bag so it's going to be better with the Trakker 365 sleeping bag so thanks for the heads up re your mate fitting the Trakker bag to the Solar C-Tech bed. Although I'm 6ft 4 inch tall and weigh 18 stone, and the wide version would be more spacious, I've only ever had normal sized bedchairs so the standard C-tech should suit me just fine.Carp fishing sleep systems and bedchairs can be expensive especially if you want something that’s durable, comfortable, and versatile. However, there are plenty of cheaper options available if you’re on a budget. The Avid Benchmark Leveltech Sleep System is one of the best bedchairs for comfort. If you’re looking for an excellent balance between support, comfort, and weight, this is the one to have. The SP C-Tech system features a fully insulated breathable mattress. This ensures that heat is retained inside the sleep system while staying completely dry without moisture collection. This makes it a fantastic bedchair for year-round use because in the height of summer it’ll help you stay cool and in the depths of winter, it’ll keep you warm without collecting moisture.

had every Nash indulgence ever released in recent times ss3, ss4 wideboy, mf60 which was a joke b the way Also available in a wide option, the standard sleep system from Solar comes in at 205cm x 80cm, and weighs just 12kg, making it a convenient touch of luxury to load onto a barrow, or stow in the car boot. If you’re the holiday-style angler that likes to set up and stay in one swim, you may favour comfort over portability. If this is the case you may opt for a heavier more cumbersome bedchair such as the Nash Indulgence because you don’t need to move it around much. You may as well have the pinnacle of luxury if you’re staying in one place! The Fox Flatliners come in 6 and 8-leg options so you can select between stability or portability. Both options are still pretty light coming in at 16kg (8-leg option) and 14.75kg (6-leg option). The Levelite has everything you’d expect from a high-end bedchair, and coming from Trakker, you’re guaranteed quality.Twin pivot hinge, making collapsing the bedchair with the sleeping bag simple, effortless and allows the bedchair to fold flat with the sleeping bag in place. If your main concern is comfort and support but you also want a bedchair that’s not going to hinder your mobility, this Avid piece is a good choice. Yes he has the standard solar bed, there are not many sleeping bags as good as the 365/AS365 only negative: the current 365 bags are 6.2 kg...the As365 is 4.2kg but hard to find new.

Thanks for the heads up on the Trakker Oval. I used to have the old Fox 5 season sleeping bag which was tapered at the foot end and whilst excellent for warmth, it was a complete bitch to get in and out of (especially with size 12 feet). I've still got the old Trakker 5 season sleeping bag with the detachable fleece inner (which I'm giving my eldest with my Fox Recliner beg chair) and as it's not tapered like the mummy style sleeping bags it's probably the best sleeping bag I've ever had.A full sleep system provides you with an all-in-one system that you can start doing nights in instantly. A bedchair alone is not a full system and will need a sleeping bag or fitted duvet to create a suitable sleep system. B) Can You Use a Bedchair Year-Round?
