About this deal

The Sun Rising (Evening Session Remix)" (remixed live by Jon Marsh in September 1990 during Mark Goodier's The Evening Session show on BBC Radio 1; originally named "The Too Damn Goodier Mix") I Must Be Dreaming (House Mouse Mix) Various - Blastmaster Radio (Keep The Frequency Clear) (2xCass, Comp) Sadly the postal services round the world have been swamped and caught out by the COVID19 pandemic - It's been like double Holiday / Christmas service with reduced staff in most territories. This delay and chaos has hit services in North America especially badly. So we have switched all shipments ex UK via UPS. The lyric is quite abstract, fragments of memories from a night in a club within clouds of dry ice. The line “learn to love your secret life” describes what life was like for us then, with dance music culture still firmly underground.

The Beloved are a British electronic music group best known for the singles " Sweet Harmony", " The Sun Rising", " Hello", " Your Love Takes Me Higher", and " Satellite". The Basildon electro-pop heroes released their seventh album, featuring Enjoy The Silence, Personal Jesus and World In My Eyes. The Boston band released their third full length album, which included the singles Velouria and Dig For Fire. a b "austriancharts.at > The Beloved in der Österreichischen Hitparade" (in German). The upper frequencies on Scarlet Beautiful have been squashed so now they are in your face, not extended like on the original pressing. I guess every decade has their top 5 or so albums. This classic has to be one in the 90s, the material so good and distinguished, and with such an effect that I'd suggest its successor, its remixes album "Blissed Out" one of the top 20 albums of the 1990s, released a year later. Marsh first met Steve Waddington when he joined the band Twelfth of August as an additional guitarist. Within a few months, Marsh suggested they leave and start their own band. Calling themselves The Journey Through in 1983, they recruited bass player Timothy Havard [1] and began writing and rehearsing; occasionally playing live, with keyboard player Bill Anderson. Waddington was singer and principal songwriter. By early 1984 they were The Beloved; Waddington still the frontman, but Marsh singing on several songs and Havard and Marsh beginning to take over most of the songwriting. [1] By the autumn Marsh was the lead singer, still drumming on demos and in rehearsal. He waited outside the BBC, Portland Place one night and gave a demo tape to John Peel. Within a fortnight they had been booked for a session. Marsh's school friend, Guy Gausden, had played drums with them at a couple of gigs and they persuaded him to join as a permanent member. Having barely rehearsed, and with two brand new songs out of four, they debuted as a four-piece on BBC Radio 1 on 8 January 1985. Time After Time I thought was beautiful, but it's a shame of time, place and people rather than the song itself that it now sounds dated. But Jon and Steve did describe it as their partial attempt at throwaway pop as The Pet Shop Boys. Still, the arrangement has great elements for a mix as does Hello.

Robert Smith's merry men jumped on the dance bandwagon with this album of remixes, which bore a hit in the baggied-up version of the classic Close To Me. Jim Bob and Fruitbat's debut album included Sheriff Fatman and the punning Twenty Four Minutes From Tulse Hill.
