The lower bed is on wheels and is detachable from the main unit. As you can see, there is storage under the stairs and the steps themselves are drawers. The other side is a full-height set of drawers. Also, there is a large drawer under the lower full bed.

Can the lower bunk be separated? Some of our featured bunks have a lower bed on wheels which can be moved to another place in the room. In other words, the lower bed is not part of the support system for the upper bunk. Other units are designed so that the lower bunk cannot be moved.
