Walkers has unveiled three limited-edition crisp flavours, inspired by its Wotsits, Monster Munch and Doritos brands. Novelty flavours have included Salt and Lineker – named as a nod to Gary Lineker - and Vardy Salted to celebrate the goal-scoring exploits of Foxes and England striker Jamie Vardy.

The American Cheeseburger flavour was launched during the World Cup of 2010 - and competed against a number of other nationally-themed flavours including French Garlic Baguette, Italian Spaghetti Bolognaise and eventual winner English Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding. While ready salted crisps were the only ones available in the early days, the company went on to release more than 130 flavours since its inception - many of which are no longer available.
