About this deal

My oldest daughter played clarinet and I got her a middle grade one so we didn't have to rent it. Of course, just after we got it she quits. One of the forgotten names in the Warhammer board game roster is Forbidden Stars. Released in 2015, this Fantasy Flight Games epic sees 2-4 players take control of Warhammer 40k factions and fight for supremacy in the Herakon Cluster. Games Workshop continues to push the edge in miniature quality with these new figures: The minis assemble nicely, with very little flash left over from the molding process. The figures are so good, in fact, that it's easy to overlook how simple the actual models are! The explorer sprues come loaded with great characters, including a Rogue Trader, a sentient robot, a couple of Xenos operatives, two Ratling agents, and Space Pope. Space Marines • Chaos Space Marines • Grey Knights • Death Guard • Astra Militarum • Adeptus Mechanicus • Craftworlds • Tyranids • Dark Angels • Blood Angels • Chaos Daemons • Adeptus Custodes • Thousand Sons • T'au Empire • Necrons • Drukhari • Deathwatch • Harlequins • Imperial Knights • Space Wolves • Gellerpox Infected • Elucidian Starstriders • Orks • Genestealer Cults • Vanguard Space Marines • Daemonkin • Chaos Space Marines II • Chaos Knights • Space Marines II • Adepta Sororitas

As well as reinventing some classics, the set features a host of Chaos worshippers never-before realised in plastic (if at all), including Traitor Guardsmen, Rogue Psykers, Chaos Beastmen and the Negavolt Cultists. After years of collecting, buying and selling, building and painting, we realised that we had amassed a small library of Build Instructions, Assembly Instructions and User Guides for various Games Workshop products. The box also contains a beefy Chaos Space Marine, and two identical sprues of antagonists, including Traitor Guard, Cultists, and Chaos Beastmen for Space Pope to beat up! Image Courtesy of Games Workshop We are a small team of Warhammer Enthusiasts and miniature collectors, hoping to support and further promote the hobby.Thankfully, Warhammer Quest came along to buff out some of the original HeroQuest’s rough edges and show us how to do the thing right. Originally released in 1995, it went out of production in 1998 until a 2016 revitalization in the form of Warhammer Quest Silver Tower. With a unique combat structure and a phase system that allows players to dabble in equal parts strategy and deceit, Forbidden Stars remains one of the high points not only of Warhammer 40k board games but of the Warhammer setting as a whole.

From leaders with Warhammer-themed special abilities to special objectives that can grant game-turning rewards to the player that completes them, Risk: Warhammer 40k isn’t just Risk with a paint job. Even the map itself has been designed to encourage battle – fitting for a Warhammer board game. The great Craftworld Aeldari Farseer Eldrad Ulthran boarded the fortress, attempting to remove the taint of Chaos and return the fortress to Aeldari control. As the fortress had been possessed by a portion of the mind of the Chaos God Slaanesh, Eldrad's body was destroyed, but his mind remained trapped within the construct.Set during the final stages of this colossal conflict, this two-player board game pits Space Marine vs. Space Marine as the forces of Horus Lupercal wage war on the Emperor of Mankind‘s palace on Terra. Developed by Fantasy Flight Games, Horus Heresy The Board Game brings together strategic decision-making with card-based combat to form an elegant look at this chaotic, warp-twisted stage of the war. Set in the city of Ulfenkarn, Cursed City sees 2-5 players work to learn the secret of a mysterious curse that has befallen the city, causing undead creatures to stalk the streets. Over a series of missions, players learn more about the curse and begin to put together the truth of the darkness at the heart of Ulfenkarn. Reaching the fortress' location requires a small and highly maneuverable spacecraft. Located close to the fortress is a small void station known as Precipice, created from the hulls of ruined starships and inhabited by a ragtag population of explorers and scavengers from across the galaxy that consists of individuals drawn from many different starfaring races. An uneasy truce endures aboard Precipice, which is enforced by a small cadre of powerful and influential starship captains looking to maintain stability on the station to pursue their own interests. The Primaris Psyker Aradia is able to use her precognitive abilities to make other players more effective. Her unique action, Psychic Boost, will help your team succeed on crucial actions. Mind over matter and all that.
