At higher temperatures, condense technology will usually be more energy efficient. In humid environments like a swimming pool, for example, the energy consumption using an adsorption solution can be 3-4 times higher when compared to a condense solution. That’s a lot of wasted money and a great cost to the environment. Commercial dehumidifiers primarily fall into two categories: condense dehumidifiers and adsorption dehumidifiers. Condense dehumidifiers Condensation dehumidifiers draw the humid process air across a cold, refrigerated coil within the unit. This condenses the water, which is captured by the device, emitting a flow of dry air out of the dehumidifier.
