Approximately, the fish population in this lake is around 500 carps, that weigh around 45 to 55 lbs. Biggest catches: Located amongst the countryside of Hatfield Peverel, Cleverley Mere is about 9 acres in size with depths of up to 18ft – gravel bars, overhanging trees, sunny bays, islands, this lake has it all as well as being home to loads of big, beautiful carp.
