The most important thing with any of these is the tone and sound quality. If you have played a Helix and weren't happy with the tones, (or it took you endless tweaking to get what you wanted), then you should give the Zoom a try. This is all subjective, but to my ears, the Zoom retains your playing dynamics, and it is strong in all categories, from clean, to mild drive, to high gain. There are several new "flagship" models on the G11 that take 30% of the processing power. They sound like they have more air or "space" around them which you may notice when playing without effects. Options are greatly increased by the 130 slots for loading quality third party IRs and by the two mono (or one stereo) FX loops, which can be placed anywhere in the signal chain putting external pedals under G11 footswitch control.

Zoom G11 - Zoom’s Flagship Guitar Multi-Effect Processor

To make its amp models sound as authentic as possible, the Zoom G11 comes loaded with 70 cabinet impulse responses that can bepaired up with any built-in amp model. Achieve convincing mic'd up cab tones with these amazingly-detailed simulated speaker sounds. And if you want to use your own impulse responses, there's plenty of space for you to import them with130 free preset slots! Key Features Wave Shaper yields a harmonic-laden sound by applying a cutting-edge algorithm to shape your waveform. It's true that the G11 'exists in its own space' among premium modeling devices. When you take into consideration its aesthetic, features and price point, where does it really sit? Is it competing with the Helix LT, or the POD Go? The Boss GT1000 or the GX100? Is it a viable alternative to something more pricey, like the Fractal FM3 or Neural Quad Cortex? In my opinion, the answer is "all and none of the above at once". It really comes down to your priorities as a musician. If an item can not be repaired, a similar alternative product or cash discount (as defined in this policy) will be offered The G11 boasts six custom-crafted amp models, putting exciting, ear-tingling sonic textures right under your feet. These models evoke the best tonal qualities of the greatest guitar amplifiers in history then combined them to give you a whole bevy of tonal palettes to experiment with.Integrated pedalboard with dedicated amp modelling panel, five stomp switches and expression/volume control You should get an instant answer on whether your application has been successful, though in some rare cases Klarna or V12 may need to look at the application in more detail. new amp simulators that precisely emulate the sonic characteristics of the tubes, transistors, and circuitry used in classic amps, plus 8 cabinet simulators that add the tonality of well-known speakercabinets The Zoom G11 Multi Effects Processor is more than just a pedalboard; this flagship multi-effects processor provided endless creative potential. Boasting 22 meticulously recreated cabinet emulations and 70 pre-loaded full impulse response data; so you can tap into any sound and style you can think of. The G11 also features brand new distortion and modulation effects, providing an infinite number of tonal variations. Heaven was tailor-made for 7- and 8-string guitars, combining tight lows with an expanded dynamic response.

Effects include classy modulations alongside plenty of delays and reverbs, and the treadle (or an added expression pedal) gives you access to wah, plus a few other effects that benefit from foot control, although we’ve heardbetter pitch shifting.EDIT: I should mention that I mainly use the mid-high gain models, so like the XtasyBlue, Recti ORG, DZ DRV, and the Krampus. Velvet is aptly named — its smooth character balances the dynamic response between your wound and plain strings. If you play Hendrixian lead/rhythm phrases, this is the model to use. x Simultaneous FX: Razor Drive, Wave Shaper, PolyShift, Geminos, SwellVibe, Delay, Fuzz, Octave, Wah, Rotary and more Alongside their innovatory distortion counterparts are a range of radical, new modulation effects. 'Geronimo' replicates your signal three times and adds subtle sonic differences to each to deliver a modern, pioneering chorus effect. 'PolyShift' is a new take on pitch-shifting, subtle sound variances are imparted at various points along a two-octave range to create a contemporary-sounding effect. Finally, 'SwellVibe' is a naturally dynamic effect that intuitively responds to your playing; instead of the effect being applied from the start, the vibrato begins only after the note is sounded for a more organic, authentic effect.
