About this deal

I was surprisingly delighted by this fragrance! this smells like cola (not coca cola or pepsi or a specific kind but a generic cola scent). It is not that strong, and leans a little designer but doesn't smell like anything else. If anyone knows a stronger niche spin on this frag let me know, I would be interested! I’d sum it up as a glass of fizzy cola with a slice of lemon to garnish. It’s a bright and refreshing blend that is perfect for casual hangs in the city, but also viable to bring some personality to the office.

Baby Blue Jeans is delightful. Powdery yet bold; sweet yet endearing - this is a great scent for anyone. If there's anything I don't like with this fragrance it's very citrusy opening that doesn't mix all too well with the rest of the notes. But once that wears off it becomes a very gentle masculine scent. Almost old school but in a very youthful way. Not like "my grandpa used to wear this when he was 50" but more like "my uncle probably wore this when he was young".

Big citrus" lingers well into the heart and the drydown, fading, but disappearing only towards the end, when the sandalwood and musk combine with a touch of vanilla. This is a perfect blind buy for someone who likes floral vanilla notes which smell like a floral coke here lol. It's an all season wear imo with decent projection for 6 hours maybe avoid it in winters. I just wished it projected stronger. The base adds some depth with cedar and sandalwood, which is what lingers on throughout the day once the lighter notes have subsided. Combined with the florals, it smells a little like detergent/freshly washed linens – it’s great. Compared to most other Versace colognes, Blue Jeans is pretty complex. It presents subtle floral freshness in a way that still feels masculine.Okay, so straight away, I completely understand why some people don't like this fragrance. On that note, I really like this fragrance. Tried it while looking for perfumes as a gift for my bf. I don't remember what it smelled like, I just remember it being pleasant. In the end I found something I liked more so I didn't get it. Really nice fragrance. I don’t know if it used to be any different from the old formula, but the reformulation is still nice. It does smell a little like cleaning spray at the beginning, but it isn’t sour or super strong. It smells like orange something. I don’t get any floral on my skin though. It smells like vanilla cola or cinnamon and oranges. It says that this is good for summer but on my the vanilla would be too much for the hot weather. Really nice smell though.

I also never realized how MANY NOTES this one has!!! A lot of people get a "cola" vibe from this but to me...I get a lot of the citrus notes which sadly do disappear all too soon. And I'm not sure what I really get at the dry down level. I just know that I still love it now at 43 the same way I did when I was 16-17 (throw in some nostalgia there). The fragrance contains, in a way, the DNA of its predecessor, bringing an initial citrus dip. But it is not a youthful perfume! It opens with citrus notes, but the body is rich in iris, rosemary, and galbanum. To finish, the base contains sandalwood, patchouli, cedar, musk, and vanilla. right off the bat it smells like some sort of citrus hand sanitizer, but 5 minutes after that it smells like vanilla coke. The opening is dominated by citrus and flower notes, but for most of its life it has a clean powdery smell with gentle musk & vanilla and remnants of flowers edging through. This performs extremely well in very hot weather (over 40C) and its perfect for my camping road trips. The bottle is solid and can easily be thrown into a kit bag. As a Bonus, this seems to keep bush flies away as well. I'd NEVER touch the "Versace...Jeans" line now, as an adult, knowing that they gutted everything 90's and made it soulless. It certainly lasts longer (and delivers a better scent) than most of the comparably priced freshies on the market. I love it. I have a lot of other more pricey fragrances, but I still wear Blue Jeans this often.
