I haven't tried it in the rain, but I would expect that the wheels would make your dress wet/muddy when in storage mode if you aren't careful about where you walk.Pretty much everything on the whole board is adjustable which lends to its adaptability for so many strollers. From a product perspective my son absolutely loves it. The only problem we've had is he's still to learn to tell us when he wants to get off, so he ends up just jumping off it when the fancy takes him. He is very happy on it, though - much happier than in a buggy itself - and seems keen to get on when we want to head off somewhere. Easy to detach and store, does not get in the way of our pram folding and closing for storage either, and will come n useful as baby grows and progresses to a buggy as I am very confident that the design of the buggyboard mean sit will be usable again our Maclaren pram. The product itself is very well made, seems very sturdy. It's easy to push on a flat surface, but struggles a little on uneven ground or stony pathways. Be warned you cannot reverse with your toddler on it - at least we couldn't. He has to get off, or we have to turn around moving forwards.Whether you have a tired child or are in a hurry, the Maxi is one of the safest ride-on platforms on the market. I have researched this buggy board for quite some time and finally decided to get it over the Bugaboo Ride-On Board because it's universal (we have the Bugaboo Frog stroller). I was excited to get it since my son rarely likes to ride in the stroller anymore but when we're out he will sometimes ask me to carry him or will want to push the stroller himself, in which case, we don't get anywhere. It was pretty easy to install and I was able to do it myself in about 30 minutes. I attached the extender that it came with the first time we used it. My son loved it and really had fun riding on it. I didn't have much of a problem hitting it with my feet when pushing the stroller since I am short. However, my husband had more of a problem with hitting it with his feet when he pushed the stroller. At first glance, the BuggyBoard Maxi price tag might send you running for the hills. But when you think about how often you’ll use it, how long it will last and how different journeys will be as a result, it’s well worth the cost. The board is only meant to be used by one child at a time, its suitable for kids who’re around 2 years of age and above. The maximum recommended weight capacity of the board is 20 kg(44 lb).
