About this deal

this book is centered on miscommunication. but they communicated everything yet still didn’t trust each other’s words. so basically they communicated but didn’t know what was real what was not.

His reason? Because he was convinced she was just like his mother, and didn't want the small town life. Now, mind you, he never actually ASKED her what she wanted. He decided FOR her what her life should look like, and brutally, and repeatedly, rejected her for it. He repeatedly chose his own emotional safety over hers, for years. THEN they finally get together, and he dumps her... rejecting her... AGAIN.... because he still won't ask her what she wants with her life. He just assumes she is like his mother. The writing, the main characters, - terrible. Selfish. And the whole “oh Remi you are just the most special girl in the world” and the other female characters hated her for being so special and taking all their shine literally made me want to burn the book. Spare me that bs please. Can I move to Blue Moon? I love the Blue Moon series (come on, crazed goats, meddling neighbors, the amazing Pierce brothers!!) and Not Part of the Plan is a fantastic addition. I loved Niko and Emma, their story and their happily ever after. But even more, I love the story of this town, the interaction between family and friends (and the occasional farm animal!!). This is the fourth in the series and can be read alone but I recommendreading the others. They are very good! And I love how each book builds toward the next. I can't wait to see what happens next in Blue Moon! - J. Williams Part of me doesn’t even want to write this review. I’m in a very “what’s the point” place, mentally. But I’m going to say a few things - mostly about me or about my reaction to this book. So take this for whatever it’s worth. It wasn’t any of his business. And he knew what would happen if he let himself get curious. Remi Ford was no longer his concern. Instead, he weighed the options between diced tomatoes with or without green peppers while shopkeeper Bill House complained to him. You aren’t hearing me, Remi. If I got anywhere near that sweet pussy of yours, I would punish you for making me wait so damn long. I’d discipline you for wanting to leave me. You’re safer if I never touch you. And so am I.”

Now I am not going to tell you any more about this book because I went into it pretty cold and let me tell you... Why is the elephant in the room only dealt with at the end of the book and with absolutely no fanfare - I waited the whole book through for the verbal showdown between the h and ow, but no….that encounter was flatter than a pancake. A total anticlimax. 20 minutes into the sweet chat and they’re besties again. Had he bothered straightening to his full six feet four inches and looked up from the canned goods, he would have caught that telltale flash of red. The color of forest fires and the temptations of hell. The story went that little Remi Ford caused a fuss in kindergarten when she demanded a pink crayon to write her Es because everyone knew Es were pink. It took a few years, but her parents finally got an answer from a specialist. Their daughter’s brain created extra connections, tying colors to things like letters, words, people. He would make sure she was never alone in the dark again. Never faced an enemy alone. Never without a protector.” Forever Never is officially a favorite for 2021! 6 stars! From the amazing characters to the suspense, this was exciting, entertaining, intense, and all kinds of sexy. There was a phenomenal build as everything unfolded. This was a thrilling read that had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Her response? Not to call him on his bullshit, that's for sure. She decides that it is her fault that he feels like she is using him for sex, and would never actually commit to a relationship with him (a relationship he has NEVER once asked her to be in, by the way). So after he screws her into the ground, and walks out of her house telling her that they are over, leaving her naked and on the floor.... she decides the best course of action is to get dressed, go to his house, cook him dinner, and tell him she's going to date him and convince him that he's worthy of her. I’ll start with what I liked, for the most part I liked the FMC Remi, she’s unique, funny, and brash. I liked the setting, the cute little island town was quaint and the thriller/mystery was also very compelling.

For the past fifteen years, Eden has worked her ass off to overcome high school. She’s cornered the tourism market in Blue Moon offering visitors a place to stay in her hippie, dippy hometown. Business is booming, she’s close—but not too close—to family, and she’s got two dogs to keep her company. Life is perfect. Almost. nothing says "I love you" like him rejecting you MULTIPLE TIMES and marrying your “best friend” instead for absolutely no good reason 😩😩😍😍😍😍😍he always knew she wanted to get out of the small town and wouldn’t ever settle but he didn’t want to leave

You haunt my every waking moment, Remington. The best thing about this world is that you’re in it.” both of them struggle with acceptance, they both have trust issues. they BOTH don’t know how to communicate what they feel. they communicated through sex.

You don’t fall for your brother’s high school sweetheart, your boss’s daughter, or your ex-wife’s best friend. Especially when they’re all the same woman."
