Warner and his servant, Delaleui, smuggle Juliette out of the compound. Warner takes her to Omega Point which is now nothing but a crater in the ground. They see Kenji there. Warner borrows Kenji’s invisibility power without even touching him. Warner allows Juliette to go with Kenji but gives her a panic button so she can call for help. There's no putting down this intense, dramatic, and steamy dystopian thriller filled with tortured souls and physical prose. Many teens will be drawn to the unique prose style, while some will just find it jarring. It's in present tense, focused heavily on movement, and full of cross-out marks to show what the main character is trying to censor in herself. Juliette hates the harm she can do others, thinks ill of her neglectful parents but wants to forgive, hates all her desires that she thinks can never be fulfilled. These desires are forbidden in her mind, which adds to the intensity of the love story.

I loved Juliette’s story throughout and I was pleased with Ignite Me overall. I was happy with the resolution to some of the bigger plot lines (namely the romance because I just FELT it in my hearts of hearts and made the most sense to me despite me being Team NOBODY coming out of Unravel Me). There were a few things I didn’t find to be “perfect” but I was so immersed in the story/the writing that I didn’t care. The only exception to that is my feelings on the ending being pretty rushed. It was resolved but rushed and I can’t explain it without spoilers so I’m going to just stop now.
It is Warner’s mother’s birthday. He is apprehensive about seeing her because she may not even know he is there. Juliette tells him she will know and it will make her happy. Juliette asks him about the jade ring he wears. He says his mother gave it to him on his sixth birthday. They were hiding from his father. She told him to hide his heart so it couldn’t be taken from him.

Get started Close James asks Warner lots of questions like why he calls Juliette “love” and if he’s in love with her (which he doesn’t answer). He asks why Warner has the big house with lots of food and hot water. Warner tells him he works for the the Re-establishment. James is terrified. Warner tells him he is also working with the rebels to defeat the Re-establishment, which is punishable by death. Then Warner gets shaky. Let’s also talk about how Tahereh Mafi made me blush harder than I ever have reading a book –especially YA. STEAMY MCSTEAMY. Holy crap. If Tahereh Mafi wrote an adult romance novel, YEP I’d be reading it.
Juliette is smuggled out of the base and taken to Omega Point. They meet Kenji there. Warner borrows his power. Juliette leaves with Kenji. Kenji fills Juliette on on what’s been going on. He says he and the rest of the group tried to help the people at Omega Point, but it was kind of hopeless. They’re now staying in Adam’s apartment. Nothing graphic at all, one part where the main character says the word sex, other than that just kissing. Lol great book, Juliette is a great positive role model and I would recommend to anyone who is interested in dystopian books.Passionate kissing, groping, some clothing removed. Main characters talk about being ready to have sex, but are interrupted. Do you often read dystopian novels? Are there times it's harder to read dystopian stories and times you seek them out? Do they change the way you look at the real world? Kenji and Juliette reunite with the group. Warner then shows up and Adam gets angry. He refuses to help Juliette fight the Re-establishment because of Warner. Adam tells Warner to leave. Loved this review! I have a feeling I’ll be exactly the same way after I finish it.
